This mixed methods study examines what happens to the role of the school librarian when schools move to a 1:1 model where every student has a digital device. Using the literature to understand expectations for librarians, the researcher surveyed experienced South Carolina school librarians to determine how 1:1 computing was implemented and supported in schools and if the role of the school librarians has changed as schools transition to a digital environment. We propose and evaluate generative models for case law citation networks that account for legal authority, subject relevance, and time decay. Since Common Law systems rely heavily on citations to precedent, case law citation networks present a special type of citation graph which existing models do not adequately reproduce. We describe a general framework for simulating node and edge generation processes in such networks, including a procedure for simulating case subjects, and experiment with four methods of modelling subject relevance: using subject similarity as linear features, as fitness coefficients, constraining the citable graph by subject, and computing subject-sensitive PageRank scores. …

This study aims to explore the publication trends in Webology Journal. The Scopus database was chosen for the extraction of bibliographic data for the period 2006 to 2020. Then, VOSviewer software was used to analyse the data and generate visualization network maps. A total of 295 publications were found during the study period. The various bibliometrics indicators have been applied to identify the publication trends of Webology Journal. The Impact Of Covid-19 On University Library Services: A Systematic Literature Review, Muhammad Zareef, Pervaiz Ahmad Dr.

The impact of COVID-19 on university library services is a less researched area. For the systematic literature review, the researchers searched Scopus, Web of Science, and Google Scholar. Initially, the researchers found 903 potentially relevant citations. From 903, 427 duplicate citations were removed. The remaining 476 articles were rechecked for relevance. There remained 34 full-text papers that were assessed for eligibility. Only 13 of these studies fulfilled the eligibility criteria to provide information on university library services in the pandemic era. PRISMA guidelines are followed in this study.

This study assessed interactive technology competencies required by business education graduates in universities, south-south, Nigeria as perceived by lecturers. One research question and three hypotheses were formulated to guide the study. Descriptive Survey design was chosen for the study. The population comprises 146 lecturers in Universities, South-South Nigeria. There was no sampling since the population was manageable. A 32-item questionnaire was the instrument used for data collection. The study covers the growth of literature and authorship patterns of the journal during the said period. Further, it analyzes various bibliometrics aspects such as authorship pattern, authors’ degree of collaboration, geographical productivity in scholarly publications and form of citation.
