The study examined the influence of emotional intelligence (EI) and self esteem on librarians’ social adjustment in federal universities in Nigeria. The study seek to ascertain whether emotional intelligence and self esteem predict social adjustment using a sample of 107 librarians drawn from 40 federal universities in Nigeria within the age range of 25 to 60 and a mean (X) age of 36.68) years and SD of 6.21. The multiple regression analysis shows that emotional intelligence has no significant relationship with social maladjustment thus showing a negative relationship. This study investigated the organizational commitment of information professionals working at university libraries in Pakistan. Survey method was adopted using a questionnaire to collect data from 329 information professionals of Punjab and Islamabad. The questionnaire contained 18-items measure of organizational commitment, developed by Meyer, Allen and Smith (1993), along with certain demographic variables. Each statement was measured on 5-point Likert scale (e.g. 1=Strongly Disagree, 2=Disagree, 3= Neutral, 4=Agree, 5= Strongly Agree). The collected data were analysed by applying descriptive as well as inferential statistics in SPSS. Editing the Eartha M.M. White Collection is a digital public history project at the University of North Florida (UNF). Started as a summer digital editing course in 2016, the project has since developed into an ongoing experiment in digital humanities outreach and community building through periodic textual editing workshops involving archival materials. Project participants transcribe and prepare for online publication (using TEI–XML) the personal correspondence and other documents of Eartha M.M. The Scopus international multidisciplinary bibliographical database has been used to identify the Global contributions in the field of Greenhouse effect. The most number of papers were published in the journals as Article, i.e. 11982 (63.49%). Globally, USA is the highest publications country with the contribution of 4172 papers. India is in the ninth position of global level research output with 484 (2.55%) published articles.

A zine can serve as a pedagogical tool and are a low-cost addition to collections and programming in libraries. The purpose of this paper is to interrogate the relationship between self-reported levels of acute stress, perceived social support, and interactions with robot animals in an academic library. The authors hypothesized: 1. participants would report lower stress and higher positive affect after their interaction with a robot support animal; 2. perceived supportiveness of the robot support animal would positively predict the amount of stress reduction the participants reported.

Purpose –This study investigated factors affect the use of Twitter by Pakistani journalists and to what extent Twitter usage impact on their job performance.

Design/methodology/approach –This study opted for a quantitative survey research design. The theoretical lens used in this study was the Theory of Planned Behavior (TPB), extended to include the impact of Twitter usage on job performance.
