Plagiarism is regarded as an academic crime, but can affect hobbies that rely on research and information sharing such as genealogy. The issue is well-known within the genealogy community. However, information professionals who aid genealogists in their research may not know enough about the issue. How can the library field respond constructively to the issue of uncontrolled plagiarism in genealogy? While the genealogy community condemns plagiarism and offers resources to correct it, current library practices concentrate on services and not on plagiarism education in the genealogy context, concentrating more on copyright and legal problems. The Information Behaviors Of Fiction Writers: A Systematic Approach To An Understudied Information Community, Lisa Lowdermilk

School of Information Student Research Journal

Within the context of creative information communities in general, fiction writers remain a relatively understudied community. This article seeks to rectify that gap by highlighting the information behaviors of fiction writers, including the ways in which they network, as well as the processes they use when writing. In doing so, it reveals that fiction writers of all genres have many experiences in common, such as the "seed incident" that serves as the starting point when writing fiction. Altmetrics can be used for research evaluation of an original publication as well as the organization level. Several studies have documented on Altmetrics. However, there are very few studies conducted on an organizational level. This paper set out to examine how the papers published by the top five NIRF-2017 institutes were shared, saved, views on different social media platforms. This study used PLOS Altmetrics data to identify article-level metrics (ALM) of theses 5 institutes. A total of 208 documents retrieved from the PLOS database. The Anchor: 2019

The Anchor began in 1887 and was first issued weekly in 1914. Covering national and campus news alike, Hope College’s student-run newspaper has grown over the years to encompass over two-dozen editors, reporters, and staff. For much of The Anchor's history, the latest issue was distributed across campus each Wednesday throughout the academic school year (with few exceptions). In recent years The Anchor moved to monthly print issues and a more frequently updated website. The Anchor is now published in print twice per academic semester. Occasionally, the volume and/or issue numbering is irregular.

Musselman Library’s strategic plan is designed to guide the library’s efforts for the next three years, 2020-2023. The library’s plan reflects Gettysburg College’s current strategic plan for 2016-2021 and grounds itself in our ongoing mission to support a liberal arts education at Gettysburg with the library as the intellectual center of campus.

The plan includes four strategic directions: support student success, design inspiring and accessible spaces, reimagine library collections, and cultivate an inclusive and responsive library climate.

The study attempts the analysis of research output of the cryogenic during 2014-2018. The data extracted from Web of Science and analyzed and tabulated. The study analyses the author patterns, language, year, journal, continent wise distributions. This paper analyzed 8073 papers in cryogenic research output of which is 2018 topmost publication year and IEEE Transaction on Applied Superconductivity ranked first with 1104 Citations, Articles are preferred source of publications and English language got top position; Continent wise Europe occupied top position, degree of collaborations is 0.96 during the study.

This study was carried out to assess the deviant behaviours of library users and potential strategies for the control of these behaviours. The study covers Delta State University, Abraka and Federal University of Petroleum Resources, Effurun. A descriptive survey research design was adopted for the study with a population of 1216 library users which comprises both staff and students. 365 respondents were selected via the random sampling technique which is 30% of the total population. In 2018 Exploring Rockingham’s Past (ERP) launched. ERP is an online repository created to house local records from the Rockingham County, Virginia circuit court. Just a little over a year before its launch, Clerk of the Court, Chaz Haywood entreated facility and graduate students within the history department of James Madison University to help develop community access to the records housed within his institution.
