It is generally accepted that scientific collaboration is beneficial to both less advanced countries and highly industrialized countries. This paper reviews the three major types of digital archiving projects: memory institutions’ digital archiving projects, community-based archiving, and personal digital archiving. An examination of some common challenges and opportunities present in most of these projects-- particularly any in the post-custodial model-- follows, with illustrative examples of various digital archiving projects. This paper may serve as a primer for memory institutional staff wishing to understand the landscape of digital archiving projects, both within and without the authoritative, disciplined approach most commonly taken by memory institutions.

This paper reviews the theories used by new scholars in Translation Studies (TS) in Indonesia, to determine whether TS or translation theory there has followed the development of TS throughout the world. The study investigated the terms and authors/ scholars of TS found in the final papers of students at Universitas Indonesia and Universitas Negeri Jakarta between 2006 and 2016. Using a corpus tool, WordSmith Tools 6.0, keyword and cluster analyses were applied to search for terms and authors. Results show no significant progress in attainment of knowledge on TS. The present paper provides a cognitive linguistics (CL) framework for analyzing the semantic structure of Arabic spatial noun fawqa based on Principled Polysemy Model (PPM) of Tyler and Evans (2003). PPM approach can broaden the narrow view of classical cognitive linguists regarding the semantic variation in the concept of physical- geometry of a preposition. As a polysemous lexeme, fawqa used by Arabian native to express a broad range of meanings, not only spatial relation but also non-spatial relation. The aim of this study is to investigate the use of multimedia technology by lecturers and undergraduate students in Osun State University. The study was guided by four research questions. The study adopted descriptive survey design sample was selected using stratified random sampling method, to select 192 lecturers, and 377 undergraduate students. Data collected were analyzed using frequency counts and percentages, and T-test to test the only null hypothesis of the study. On January 28, 2019, the SHF Archive began a nearly 3,000 mile journey from Fremont, California, to the archival processing facilities of History Associates located in Rockville, Maryland. Seven months later, on August 26, the SHF Archive arrived at its new home at Santa Clara University. This short presentation provides an overview of activities spanning three days during which History Associates and Archives & Special Collections staff unpacked and shelved the SHF collections in their new home.

A Department of History graduate student located evidence of self-identification as African American for authors, and catalogers added the demographic term to bibliographic records and are in the process of creating work level Name Title Authority Records for titles written by those authors. Nearly half the conferences I have participated in during my career have been non-library focused. I believe that alternating between library and non-library conferences has made me a better librarian and library advocate.
