This paper is an empirical study of evaluation practices of electronic resources in university libraries in South East Nigeria. The study determines the criteria considered in evaluating electronic resources, the adequacy of use of the electronic resources and the extent of use of the electronic resources by university libraries in South East Nigeria. Subject access to homosexuality and other LGBT topics has a complicated history. Because language used for concepts can change depending on who you ask, controlling this vocabulary is a difficult task. The aim of this research is to show a discrepancy between keyword searches and Library of Congress Subject Headings when searching for queer topics, as well as to encourage other librarians to perform research in this area when updating or adding new subject headings. This study investigated the awareness, availability and accessibility of library resources by students of Kwara State University, Malete. The descriptive survey research design was adopted for the study and 210 undergraduate students provided the data. The findings of the study revealed that information resources were available and accessible in Kwara State University Library. The study showed that students do not know the usefulness of some of the resources and this has hampered their desire for them. This study examined job satisfaction and self-efficacy of library personnel as determinants of their job performance. A descriptive survey research design was adopted for the study. Total enumeration was used to cover 112 library personnel using structured questionnaire. The data collected were analyzed using descriptive statistics. Four research questions were answered in the study. Result obtained indicated that, the levels of job performance, job satisfaction and self-efficacy of library personnel in universities in Southwest Nigeria were high. The objective of this study is to determine the extent to which mentoring programmes can encourage job task output of librarians which improves productivity. The purpose of this study was to examine the level of staff preparedness towards fire disaster in University of Jos Library. Survey research method was adopted for the study. The measuring instrument comprised of questionnaire and interview. Out of the 106 copies of questionnaire distributed 104 (98.11%) were filled, returned and found suitable for use. After-which simple frequency tables, percentages, means and weighted averages were used to analyse the results. For the interview, a face-to-face interactive session was held between the researchers and the University Librarian on issues of Disaster Management Plan in the Library.
