Literature revealed that ICT if properly integrated into teaching and learning have the potential to improve students’ academic performance. This study focused on determining business education lecturers’ perception of learning management systems (LMS) for effective teaching and learning of accounting in universities in South-East Nigeria. Structured questionnaire was used to elicit information from 232 lecturers from 9 universities from South-East Nigeria. The data collected were analyzed using percentages and mean to answer the research questions, while null hypotheses were tested using ANOVA at 0.05 level of significance. The study adopted survey research design. The population of the study consisted 1200 respondents comprising (staff of the Zamfara State Agricultural Development Project, FADAMA III Project, IFAD, Animal rearers and Farmers). Instruments of data collection used for the study were the questionnaire, interview and discussions. One thousand two hundred questionnaires were distributed to respondents and only 988 (82.2%) were dully returned and found usable. The results of the responses were interpreted using simple percentage and frequency tables. This study has made an attempt to examine the use and impact of electronic resources particularly electronic journals or e-journals among the user community of Periyar University at Salem. Periyar University Central Library subscribes a number of online journals to meet the information needs of its users such as faculty members, post graduate students and research scholars etc. The results showed that the maximum number of respondents was female with 58.33 percent whereas the minimum number of respondents was male. The study awareness and used of search engines by students Sri Ramakrishna college of arts and science Coimbatore. Total 300 questionnaires were distributed randomly students of SRCAS Coimbatore. The investigator could collect questionnaires from only 259 out of 300 respondents. This constitutes 86.33 per cent (259/300) of the total answer. Mostly 66% of the respondents are usage Google search engine for their principle.39% of the respondents are usage the search engine mostly for judgment thesis works. Information Communication Technology (ICT) has provided plenty of opportunities and challenges to the Librarians. This paper discusses the cost effective ICT methods that have been implemented at Sri Sarada College for Women, Tirunelveli. The case study method has been adopted to study the purpose. Sarada Library has implemented library automation with barcode facility, institutional repository, library consortia, library 2.0 tools, coordinate NPTEL courses and conducted information literacy skill development programmes. Sarada library has implemented successful cost effective ICT methods and provided technological services to the end users.

The aim of this study was to assess the information needs, sources and the challenges of information access among women in Sagnerigu district in Northern Ghana. Data was collected through questionnaire and interviews from 150 women participants in different geographical zones in the district. The study discovered that majority of women in the Sagnerigu district often need information that is related to agriculture, health and family planning issues. The unique properties of graphene and its extensive applications has turned it an emerging area of research. Therefore, this study is an attempt to analyse the research output trends in graphene during the period 2010 – 2012 for the publications indexed by Web of Science.

Design/methodology/approach- In this bibliometric overview, Google Scholar, Scopus and Web of Science were used for data collection. Study sample consisted of the classic papers in the field of critical care, introduced in Google scholar. SPSS were used for data analyses.

This study investigated the utilisation of social media tools to enhance Knowledge Sharing (KS) practices among knowledge workers at The Nelson Mandela African Institution of Science and Technology (NM-AIST) of Tanzania. A case study design was used in this study. Data was collected by adopting a combination of document content analysis and semi-structured interviews from library and Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) staff.
