The concept “Information Explosion” is developed in this world. ICT (Information & Communication Technology) is playing a significant role in housekeeping activities and information retrieval in libraries. ICT consists of three terms Information, Communication & Technology. The paper highlights the use of ICT in college libraries. For collecting data, questionnaire method is adopted. The findings of the study shows that, the highest percentage of libraries (80.56%) have printer in libraries followed by photocopy machines (75%), CD/CD-ROM drive (72.22%), scanners (70.37%), and barcode scanners (54.63%). This paper presents a scientometric analysis of research output of biochemistry, genetics and molecular biology from the Gujarat University, Ahmedabad. This paper explores the reason teachers choose to go into librarianship when leaving the teaching profession from Sub-Saharan Africa. Snowball sampling method was used to locate seventeen (17) participants for this study in Ghana. Mixed methods were used for data collection; questionnaire (open-ended questions) and interview. The data was analyzed using the thematic analysis technique. The study found the following as reasons teacher choose librarianship when leaving the teaching profession: Better Salaries and Remunerations, Relatedness of librarianship to teaching, Love for books, Employment Space and scope of opportunities for librarians. The aim of this study was to investigate the motives that were instrumental in driving the first-year science and math student teachers to be a teacher at one public university in Sumatra, Indonesia. A questionnaire and semi-structured interviews were used to collect the data. 378 participants completed questionnaires consisting of 318 females and 60 males while the interview data were collected from voluntary participants. Citation Rates For Ohio State Graduate Theses & Dissertations: Trends, Surprises, And Inaccuracies, Daniel S. Dotson

The Ohio State University’s holdings of graduate theses and dissertations were examined to determine if highly-downloaded titles tended to be highly-cited. The study found that citation rates were highly variable and did not necessarily correspond to download rates. This included very highly downloaded titles with low citation rates, and lesser-downloaded titles with high citation rates. The study found that Google Scholar, which was used to identify citation rates, too often counts theses and dissertations as a version of a different work with the same title, even if it is another format and sometimes with additional authors. Using Sankhyā – The Indian Journal of Statistics as a case, present study aims to identify scholarly collaboration pattern of statistical science based on research articles appeared during 2008 to 2017. This is an attempt to visualize and quantify statistical science research collaboration in multiple dimensions by exploring the co-authorship data. It investigates chronological variations of collaboration pattern, nodes and links established among the affiliated institutions and countries of all contributing authors. The purpose here is to compare the status of website of five IAU unites based on webometrics, Alexa's traffic rating and estimated value of Sinium. This applied research is run through a descriptive method, where Webometrics index, Alexa's traffic rating and estimated value of Sinium are applied. The statistical population consists of five: IAU Kerman, Shiraz, Bushehr, Bandar Abbas and Ahwaz units’ websites. The results reveal that Ahvaz unit with the average of 10356 pages is ranked the highest and the first and Bushehr unit with the lowest 4441 pages is ranked the last. The purpose of this study is to investigate records management practices in selected primary schools in Zimbabwe as factors that contribute to governance, identity, research and memory needs. Independent research addressing records management practices in the context of the developing world is far from extensive. Using the survey approach, this study triangulated a pretested questionnaire, document analysis, an interview schedule and observation techniques to collect data from a sample of 128 primary schools.
