Purpose- The purpose of the paper is to find out the level of awareness and use of e-journal by the researchers pursuing Ph.D in library and information science.

Design/Methodology/Approach – The data is collected through a well-structured questionnaire from the research scholars of library and information science.

Findings- the study reveals that all the researchers of library and information science are aware about the availability of e-journals. The on screen reading is preferred by majority of researchers and the HTML is the preferred format. But the less number of researchers prefer or published their research paper in e-journals.

Purpose: The present study attempts to highlight the status of “open access repositories” globally.

Methodology: Present study is based on the data gathered from “open-DOAR”. Data gathered was thoroughly analyzed based on chosen parameters, viz., “Geographical distribution”, “Software usage”, “Language diversity”, “Operational status”, “Repository type”, “Content type” and “Subjects archived”.

Findings: Open access repositories (OARs) have witnessed potential growth trends particularly in developed countries. The present study aims to identify the status of Open Access Repositories (OARs) in the field of Ecology and Environment. The data was collected from the Directory of Open Access Repositories (OpenDOAR). Data collected was analysed on different parameters such as geographical distribution, software usage, content type, repository type and language diversity. As of now OpenDOAR holds 176 repositories in the field of Ecology and Environment. The findings further reveal that the maximum number of repositories belong to the USA accounting for 18(10.2%). Also, the maximum number of repositories are institutional accounting for 134(76%).

The aim of this paper is to make a comparative study of Library Science videos uploaded by IGNOU and E-PG Pathshala on You Tube. The data was collected by the researcher using observation technique. The findings show that the number of videos uploaded by e-PG Pathshala is four times more than videos uploaded by IGNOU. The language used in these videos is English. aim: The aim of this study was, to calculate the amount and decade-wise growth of scientific articles publish under the caption of original and review articles, case and short reports, and special and short communications in the Journal of Pakistan Medical Association (JPMA) during the period of 1978 – 2017.

Methods: The data of 480 issues of JPMA was manually retrieved and collected to tabulate in Microsoft Excel 2010 from the website of the journal for the period 1978 - 2017.

This study was necessitated by an attempt to find out the nursing students’ level of satisfaction with library services in selected universities in Edo State. Descriptive survey research design was adopted. The population of the study comprised all the 100 to 500 level Nursing undergraduates in selected universities.
