Background: The Journal of Computers in Human Behavior published its first issue in 1985. This study presents a general overview of the journal from 1985 until 2019 using bibliometric indicators to assess its performance.

Methods: The data for this study, dating between 1985 and 2019, was extracted from Scopus database. All the information was exported in CSV format for data analysis. This paper deals with the comparative study of author productivity based on Lotak's law to the research publications of Alagappa and Bharathidasan Universities. The data for the study collected from Web of Science (WOS) database during the period of 2009 to 2018. Straight counting method applied to author productivity for both universities. A total of 1726 research publications from Alagappa University similarly 2778 research publications from Bharathidasan University contributed during the span of study period. The study applied Lotka’s law of the author’s productivity in the field Thermodynamic from 2015 to 2019. The Goodness of fit test Kolmogorov – Smirnov (K-S) test was applied to the data of thermodynamics research. It is found that the applicability of Lotka’s law is confirmed with 0.003 level of significance in the field of Thermodynamics. Bur Lotka’s inverse square law does not fit the present data. The study found that the most productive author is ‘Wang, J.’ with 159 articles, and the most productive journal is ‘Journal of Molecular Liquids’ with 547 published articles in Thermodynamics. First, it investigated the impact of knowledge sharing (KS) on job satisfaction (JS), second, this study examined the role of demographic variables (gender, age, designation, qualification, and experience) between KS-JS relationship. A cross-sectional survey questionnaire was used to collect data from 274 currently working university librarians in Higher Education Commission (HEC) recognized universities of Pakistan. Librarians have been present on social media since its earliest days, as have studies about librarians on social media. Early attitudes expressed concern about the way social media use might impact one’s professional reputation. This study revisits the attitudes and behaviors of librarians towards social media in 2019. It is found that early concerns remain, with only 38 percent of respondents indicating that they felt free of the responsibility of presenting a professional persona in social media. However, respondents were nearly unanimous in affirming social media as a positive resource for librarians.

Central Library National Institute of Technology (NIT) Durgapur, West Bengal, India conducted study after the announcement of nationwide lockdown in India to know the students’ awareness about COVID-19, anxiety caused, if any, due to the Pandemic and its impact over their academic activities. Central Library also tries to find out the user satisfaction and expectations during the lockdown.
