Bravura was a quarterly magazine which was adjunct to numerous courses in Mass Communication at Winona State University. Bravura was a supplement to the Winona Daily News and was distributed on the WSU campus, the St. Mary’s College campus, the Red Wing-Winona Technical College Campus and at the Winona State University Rochester Center. The publication covered the community of Winona, edited for campus and non-campus audiences. Advisers to Bravura are Mass Communication faculty: Don Cramer, Ajit Daniel, Ron Elcombe, Cindy Killion, Dennis Pack, John Vivian and Bill Withers; News bureau supervisor: Mike Cavanagh.

And on Monday when I heard the announcement of his death, I was reminded of how much I enjoyed and how much I was disgusted by Charles Oscar Finley owner of the Kansas City-Oakland Athletics of the American League.

In one of the more remarkable developments in the history of sports franchise movement, the National Football League has struck a deal with the city of Cleveland. The city gets some money and a promise, but in fact they still lose their team. In the meantime the moving vans are rolling out of Seattle. In both places the stadia have been decreed inadequate by owners of the same description.
