Mental health has become a major concern according to WHO who estimates that more than 350 million people worldwide are affected by depression. Studies have shown that interventions and social support can reduce stress and depression. However, counselling centers do not have enough resources to provide counselling and social support to all the participants in their interest. This paper helps social support organizations (e.g., university counselling centers) sequentially select the participants for interventions. Unfortunately, previous works do not consider emotion propagation from other neighbours of the influencees and initial uncertainties of mental states and influence. Moreover, they fail to scale …

The role of a clergyperson is often understood as one that creates a connection between the human and the divine, faith and God. However, such a vast role is typically executed in specific ways, such as leading Bible studies, visiting the sick, leading worship, and the act of preaching. At times, such a role demands even more nuanced behaviors based upon the context, population, and time. Christian educators often lack specialized training in message delivery which leads to a lower self-efficacy. Christian educators devote their lives to fulfillment of the Great Commission; it is the job of the church universal to provide resources and support that equip the saints to boldly share the Gospel with great confidence. When self-efficacy is low, confidence is low. Theological foundations are often strong and well-developed by the local church. The practical aspect of preaching, meaning delivery, is an area that is underrepresented in academic research. With young people at the vanguard of technology adoption and media consumption, many governments are actively incorporating young people into their public education campaigns, and young people are enlisting themselves as media literacy advocates. This article reviews a selection of such media literacy programmes to unpack their key thrusts and components so as to identify best practices and learning points. As of late November 2020, the Covid-19 pandemic killed more than 250,000 people in America despite having early warning of the virus’ lethality and some of the world’s best public health institutions. In today’s media landscape, conservative commentators have an enormous influence on President Donald Trump as well as American political discourse broadly. This study focused how the top conservative commentators on YouTube influenced their audience by their coverage of the Covid-19 pandemic. Assessing The Living Experiences Of Prostate Cancer Survivors In The Delta Of Northeast Arkansas., Samuel Mensah Noi

Prostate cancer remains the most prevalent non-cutaneous malignancy and the second leading cause of cancer death in Western men. The living experiences of people with prostate cancer have never been pleasant just like any other cancer. Twelve prostate cancer survivors living in the Delta of Northeast Arkansas took part in the study who were all Caucasians. They were between the ages of 59-79 years and high educational backgrounds. The average age of participants is 69.3 years. The study adopted a semi-structured interview approach with a variety of open-ended questions to stimulate discussion. Background:
Adolescents and young adults demonstrate the highest rate of unrestrained motor vehicle fatalities, making the promotion of seat belt restraint a priority for public health practitioners. Because social media use among adolescents and young adults has proliferated in recent years, it is critical to explore how to use this tool to promote seat belt use among this population. Social media posts can contain various types of information within each post and this information can be communicated using different modalities.

Measuring Objectivity In Documentary Film, Christopher Gordon Bailey

Documentary films and journalistic work share many common attributes. At their foundation, both tell stories about communities and important topics to people in those communities. Yet, when asked about trust in the medium, individuals generally show a significantly higher respect for documentary films than journalism. One way to understand how a media product may be trusted is through its objectivity, a concept that is important to journalists but not as crucial to documentary films. This thesis considers how the principles of objectivity may manifest in observational documentary film through a qualitative content analysis. Findings indicate that some measures of objectivity …
