This study delves into the 2017-2019 NIRF rankings of India's top 20 universities, examining factors such as library spending, faculty quality, and sponsored projects. Despite varying expenditures, some universities displayed unexpected performances in rankings. The study suggests strategies for universities to enhance performance and rankings, aiming to uncover correlations between NIRF ranks and factors like library expenditure, research student count, faculty numbers, and sponsored projects. Data for the study were collected through web content analysis, primarily sourced from the official websites of NIRF. Introduction: The current study aims to assess the prioritization of factors and barriers influencing the documentation of knowledge and experiences in university libraries across the Khorasan provinces, as perceived by librarians.

Methods: This applied research employed a survey-analytical methodology, focusing on librarians with library qualifications in central academic libraries of Khorasan. 102 individuals were selected using Cochran's formula. A researcher-designed questionnaire was validated, with data analyzed using descriptive (mean) and inferential statistics (Friedman's non-parametric test).

Results: Key findings indicate that cultural infrastructure, structural provisions, legal frameworks, and technological advancements significantly impact the documentation of knowledge and experiences. …

UNHCR reports that about 82.4 million individuals were forcibly displaced as they attempted to avoid persecution, conflict, or human rights violations in their home countries. In addition to traumatic experiences, refugees encounter stressors such as low income, reduced social support, and language barriers. This qualitative study aimed to explore the impact of pre-migration trauma and political detainment on mental health outcomes and living conditions. We make the case for building a permanent public-use platform for conducting and analyzing immersive interviews on the everyday lives of Americans. The American Voices Project (AVP)—a widely watched experiment with this new platform—provides important early evidence on its promise. The articles in this issue reveal that, although public-use interview datasets obviously cannot meet all research needs, they do provide new opportunities to study small or hidden populations, new or emerging social problems, reactions to ongoing social crises, submerged values and attitudes, and many other aspects of American life. Battery items may be displayed in a grid in a mail survey or computer web survey, but are often displayed as individual items on mobile devices. This study explored access to and utilization of healthcare facilities among migrant women in an urban slum community in Nigeria, focusing on factors influencing healthcare-seeking behaviors and the implications for public health interventions. A qualitative case study-oriented research design was employed, involving in-depth interviews with 21 migrant women of reproductive age and 4 key informant interviews with healthcare workers in the Ayobo community of Lagos State, Nigeria. Implementing these charts improves early identification and management of malnutrition, crucial for addressing childhood health challenges in India. This report focuses only on dietary results from the Aztec Ruins and Salmon Ruins coprolites. The parasitological analysis was completed in 2018 and was the focus of several papers that were summarized by Camacho and Reinhard (2020). This did not include DNA analysis. The coprolites from these sites are not appropriate sources of DNA testing.

The main conclusion of the analysis are:

1) Two very distinct plant spectra are represented in Aztec Ruins West (ARW) room 219 and room 225.

2) The three contexts of ARW room 219 show interesting variation in food selection, however these are small samples.

Vehicle collisions with wild pigs (Sus scrofa) are reported almost everywhere this species is found. However, this is one of the least studied and characterized forms of damage that these invasive animals cause in the United States (US). We analyzed 518 wild pig-vehicle collisions (WPVCs) that took place statewide in Georgia between 2015 and 2021. From that dataset, we analyzed several parameters in order to better understand and characterize these accidents on a scale that had previously not been done in the US. African swine fever (ASF) has never been detected in the United States, but the current global outbreak threatens to change that. Although ASF poses no known risk to human health and is not a food safety concern, little is known about the response in U.S. consumer demand in case of an outbreak. We use an online survey experiment, following the one-and-one-half-bound dichotomous choice contingent valuation approach to estimate changes in consumers’ willingness to pay for pork in case of an ASF outbreak. Utilizing a comprehensive, multisource dataset comprising 394 employees across 120 store teams in three furnishing shopping malls in Zhejiang Province, China, this research employs a two-wave data collection methodology to examine the proposed theoretical model.

Genetic variability persists across diverse populations, and it may impact the characterization of heritable diseases in different ancestral groups. Cystinosis is a metabolic disease caused by pathogenic variants in the CTNS gene causing the cellular accumulation of cystine. We attempted to assess the currently poorly characterized prevalence of cystinosis by employing a population genetics methodology. In New England, coastal wetlands are rapidly drying up from widespread droughts, eroding from sea level rise, or being overrun by invasive species. Old Lyme, Connecticut relies heavily on the environmental and economic benefits of wetlands. In the last decade however, many coastal homes in Old Lyme, like the summer cottages of White Sands Beach, have been threatened by a lack of resilient wetlands surrounding them, and the coastal biodiversity of the town has decreased. The White Sands Beach Salt Marsh Restoration Project restored over an acre of coastal wetland at White Sands Beach through integrated marsh management strategies.
