Mens Sana Monograph is a peer reviewed journal of medicine and mental health which is a publication of Mens Sana Research foundation. The present bibliometrics study of 153 articles published in the Mens Sana Monograph from 2007 to 2016. This study analyzes various aspects of the journal such as growth of articles and citations, authorship pattern and collaboration, number of times cited, most productive countries and institutions, etc. of these articles. The study reveals that the journal has a positive growth in respect to publications and their citations. The authorship pattern found in this journal is towards single authorship.

The study analyses the majority of the respondents 221 (42.5%) are assistant professors/ lecturers/senior lecturers, and 195 (37.5%) of them are associate professors followed by 104 (20%) of the respondents are professors. 331 (26.7%) of the respondents followed by the use of e-magazines by 182 (14.7%) respondents. This paper explores the reason teachers choose to go into librarianship when leaving the teaching profession from Sub-Saharan Africa. Snowball sampling method was used to locate seventeen (17) participants for this study in Ghana. Mixed methods were used for data collection; questionnaire (open-ended questions) and interview. The data was analyzed using the thematic analysis technique. The study found the following as reasons teacher choose librarianship when leaving the teaching profession: Better Salaries and Remunerations, Relatedness of librarianship to teaching, Love for books, Employment Space and scope of opportunities for librarians. Researchers Croll and Ziller at the University of Southern Maine, along with Leonardson of the Maine Health Access Foundation present a statistical analysis of uninsured non-elderly adults age 18 – 64 with no children and lower incomes, the population newly eligible for MaineCare through expansion.
