This study was necessitated by an attempt to find out the nursing students’ level of satisfaction with library services in selected universities in Edo State. Descriptive survey research design was adopted. The population of the study comprised all the 100 to 500 level Nursing undergraduates in selected universities. Accidental sampling techniques was used to draw a sample size of two hundred (200), one hundred and nine three (193) copies were retrieved and analyzed using simple percentage, mean and standard deviation. In this study a scientometric analysis of the global toxicology research output during 2008-2017 was performed based on the data retrieved from SCOPUS database. This study analyses the global research output in toxicology research on different parameters including the growth, global publication share and rank, contribution of major subject areas, contribution and citation impact of the most productive authors, affiliations and journals. A total of 29374 papers were published during 2008-2017 on toxicology research. Top 10 countries contributed 85.68% share of total publications. This article details the multi-year process of adding a 3,200 item campus collection to a university library’s catalog. The collection, housed outside of the library itself, belongs to the university’s Confucius Institute (CI). While acknowledging increasing political discomfort nationwide about Confucius Institutes, the university library nevertheless sought to increase discoverability and access to the unique set of materials by cataloging the entire collection. Purpose - Webometric studies, using link analysis between websites and URL analysis as the basic data type, have been used to assess institutional networks, and to analyse the level of homogeneity among the CIHMs websites.

Design/methodology/approach - data were collected from the websites of all 21 IHMs (Central institutes) using three different tools, viz., Google search engine; moz.com (earlier www.opensiteexplorer.org) and webpagetest.org (originally developed by AOL).

This study analyses the Eosinophilia research output carried out during the year 1998 – 2017 the different parameters including authorship pattern, growth, Time Series Analysis Degree of Collaboration, Institutions’ contribution, most productivity journals were analysed. The overall growth rate of literature output is found to be positive with an increasing trend in Eosinophilia research throughout the study period. Two and more authored papers constitute majority of the contribution and degree of collaboration had a maximum value of 7.14. The result shows that research development activities are increasing in Eosinophilia research in India.

The present study aims to identify the status of Open Access Repositories (OARs) in the field of Ecology and Environment. The data was collected from the Directory of Open Access Repositories (OpenDOAR). Data collected was analysed on different parameters such as geographical distribution, software usage, content type, repository type and language diversity. As of now OpenDOAR holds 176 repositories in the field of Ecology and Environment. The findings further reveal that the maximum number of repositories belong to the USA accounting for 18(10.2%). Also, the maximum number of repositories are institutional accounting for 134(76%).

Academic librarian job advertisements often use personality traits to describe future job candidates. No study has looked at what personality traits are used most frequently in librarian job advertisements and whether they tie to job performance through the Big Five personality dimensions. Content analysis of librarian job advertisements from the last three months of 2018 showed that the most used personality traits were creative, innovative, and collaborative. Although the Big Five dimension of conscientiousness has been linked to job performance, only 16% of job advertisements used personality traits in that dimension
