Introduction:  Prevalence of heart failure (HF) in the US is projected to rise 46% by 2030, resulting in more than 8 million people with HF.  Negative psychologic states including depression and pessimism (negative future expectations) have been linked with poor cardiovascular outcomes, including HF.  Despite the fact that optimism (positive future expectations) and other positive affective states have been associated with superior outcomes, there has been little focus on interventions designed to increase positive psychological states in patients with HF.

Objective: To test the acceptability and feasibility of a nurse-led positive psychology intervention, Best Possible Self (BPS).

PURPOSE: The purpose of this project is to determine if an educational intervention with families decreased overall screen time use in school-aged children with attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD).

METHODS: This study was a single group pre-test, post-test interventional study design. The sample population consisted of the parents/guardians of 30 school-aged children diagnosed with ADHD (5-12 years) recruited from the University of Kentucky Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics Clinic between November 2019 and February 2020. As such, military HCPs serve in various settings, including hospitals, clinics, ships, and austere environments. A critical review of the meanings students were ascribing to the lists of frequently challenged books published by ALA was prompted by the suggestions of two students that the Office of Intellectual Freedom bans books. The purpose of this research is to examine factors affecting students’ perception and engagement of microblogging integration using a qualitative approach. We employed a qualitative case study design to explore potential factors affecting microblogging integration in a hybrid course. Using the technology acceptance model (TAM) model as an umbrella framework, we examined through in-depth interviews with 18 participants the impact of microblogging integration into instruction that affected students’ reported use and perceptions of their microblogging-supported learning experiences. The public and nonprofit sectors generally pay less than the private sector, and individuals are willing to forgo higher salaries in exchange for greater intrinsic satisfaction derived from making a contribution to society. However, personal financial considerations, such as education debt, may discourage individuals from pursuing careers in lower paying sectors even if they are predisposed to public service motivation (PSM). We discuss the connection between the numeracy and social justice movements both in historical context and in its modern incarnation. The intersection between numeracy and social justice encompasses a wide variety of disciplines and quantitative topics, but within that variety there are important commonalities. We examine the importance of sound quantitative measures for understanding social issues and the necessity of interdisciplinary collaboration in this work. Particular reference is made to the papers in the first part of the Numeracy special collection on social justice, which appear in this issue.

Being a highly convoluted and contemporaneous issue, defining and conceptualising image based sexual abuse has proved difficult for scholars. Although research on image-based sexual abuse is limited, previous inquiries have identified serious consequences and accumulative harms for affected individuals. I aimed to explore the lived experience and consequences of image-based sexual abuse as identified by women, in an attempt to taper the research dearth on this phenomenon. However, nowadays women’s labor force participation has increased, and women have become more economically independent as a result of higher education attainment. An important question is whether these factors lead to an older age of marriage or even a choice remaining single. This paper analyzes how women’s education affects the marriage outcome and studies single women’s perspective towards marriage. การศึกษาวิจัยเรื่องนี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ มีวัตถุประสงค์ 2 ประการ คือ 1) เพื่อศึกษาเปรียบเทียบขั้นตอนการสรรหาและจัดรับพนักงานและเหตุผลที่เปลี่ยนขั้นตอนการสรรหาและจัดรับพนักงานผ่านระบบสารสนเทศ 2) การสรรหาและจัดรับพนักงานผ่านระบบสารสนเทศมีประสิทธิผลมากขึ้นหรือไม่ กลุ่มตัวอย่างในการศึกษาวิจัยครั้งนี้ คือ หน่วยงานสรรหาและจัดรับพนักงาน สังกัดทรัพยากรบุคคล หน่วยงานลูกค้าธุรกิจรายปลีกและหน่วยงานลูกค้าธุรกิจรายกลาง เป็นการสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึก (In-depth Interview) โดยนำข้อมูลที่ได้จากการสัมภาษณ์มาวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลเรียบเรียงใหม่ในเชิงพรรณนาความ ผลการวิจัยพบว่า 1) ขั้นตอนการสรรหาและจัดรับพนักงานแบบปกติมีขั้นตอนทั้งหมด 24 ขั้นตอน ใช้ระยะเวลาทั้งกระบวนการโดยประมาณ 5 – 6 เดือน และขั้นตอนการสรรหาและจัดรับพนักงานผ่านระบบสารสนเทศมีขั้นตอนทั้งหมด 18 ขั้นตอน ใช้ระยะเวลาทั้งกระบวนการโดยประมาณ 1.5 – 2 เดือน สรุปได้ว่าเหตุผลหลักที่เปลี่ยนขั้นตอน คือ ปัจจัยของระยะเวลานาน ไม่สามารถจัดรับพนักงานได้ตามปริมาณในเวลาที่กำหนด จึงทำให้หน่วยงานมีความพึงพอใจต่ำต่อฝ่ายบุคคล 2) การสรรหาและจัดรับพนักงานผ่านระบบสารสนเทศมีประสิทธิผลมากขึ้นจริง ดังนี้ บุคลากร มีการพัฒนาศักยภาพ ความรู้ความสามารถของฝ่ายบุคคลให้เข้าใจธุรกิจหน่วยงานมากยิ่งขึ้น การออกแบบขั้นตอนที่มีประสิทธิภาพมากขึ้น คือ ลดขั้นตอนที่ไม่จำเป็นออกเพื่อกระชับขั้นตอนให้มีประสิทธิภาพ เทคโนโลยี ขั้นตอนการสรรหาและจัดรับพนักงานทุกขั้นตอนลงระบบสารสนเทศ เครื่องมือ เพิ่มการประเมินผลสัมภาษณ์ที่มีมาตรฐานเดียวกัน สรุปได้ว่าประสิทธิผลจากการเปลี่ยนขั้นตอนการสรรหาและจัดรับพนักงานนั้นทำให้มีคุณภาพมากยิ่งขึ้น ทั้งเรื่องคุณภาพการทำงานของฝ่ายบุคคล คุณภาพของกระบวนการ คุณภาพของเครื่องมือในการสัมภาษณ์และคุณภาพของผู้สมัครที่มีความเหมาะสมกับงาน ทำให้หน่วยงานได้พนักงานเข้ามาทำงานทันกำหนดตามปริมาณที่ต้องการ อีกทั้งเปลี่ยนขั้นตอนให้กระชับ ทำให้ระยะเวลาในการสรรหาและจัดรับพนักงานเร็วขึ้น หน่วยงานจึงมีความพึงพอใจต่อฝ่ายบุคคลมากขึ้นเช่นกัน

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาปัจจัยที่จําแนกระหว่างผู้ทํางานอาสาสมัครกับผู้ไม่ทํางานอาสาสมัครในกลุ่มนิสิตนักศึกษาเขตกรุงเทพมหานครและปริมณฑล กลุ่มตัวอย่างในการวิจัยครั้งนี้เป็นนิสิตนักศึกษาทุกระดับชั้นที่มีอายุระหว่าง 19-30 ปี (M = 22.13 ปี, SD = 3.37) จำแนกตามการทำกิจกรรมอาสาสมัครออกเป็น 2 กลุ่ม ได้แก่ ผู้ทำกิจกรรมอาสาสมัครในช่วง 6 เดือนที่ผ่านมา 142 คน และผู้ไม่ทำกิจกรรมอาสาสมัครในช่วง 6 เดือนที่ผ่านมา 120 คน ตัวแปรที่ศึกษาในการวิจัยประกอบด้วย การมีจุดมุ่งหมายในชีวิต ความเชื่อมั่นในศาสนา การจัดการความรู้สึกด้านลบ การสร้างคุณค่าให้กับสังคม การพัฒนาตนเองด้านการทำงาน การพัฒนาตนเองด้านการเรียนรู้และเข้าใจ การเห็นคุณค่าในตนเอง การพัฒนาตนเองด้านความสัมพันธ์ในสังคม และการมีต้นแบบจากพ่อ แม่ หรือเพื่อน ตัวแปรตามคือการเป็นอาสาสมัคร เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย คือแบบสอบถามข้อมูลทั่วไป แบบสอบถามความเชื่อมั่นในศาสนา แบบสอบถามการมีต้นแบบจากพ่อ แม่ หรือเพื่อนเป็นอาสาสมัคร แบบวัดแรงจูงใจในการทำกิจกรรมอาสาสมัคร และแบบวัดการมีจุดมุ่งหมายในชีวิต ใช้การวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยวิธีถดถอยโลจิสติก ผลการวิจัยสามารถอธิบายความแปรปรวนของการเป็นอาสาสมัครได้ร้อยละ 17.8 โดยมีปัจจัยที่สามารถจำแนกการเป็นอาสาสมัครได้อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ (p< .05) 3 ประการได้แก่ ความเชื่อมั่นในศาสนา การมีต้นแบบจากพ่อ แม่ หรือเพื่อน และการมีจุดมุ่งหมายในชีวิต ทั้งนี้สมการถดถอยโลจิสติกสามารถทำนายการเป็นอาสาสมัครได้ร้อยละ 65.6

วิทยานิพนธ์ฉบับนี้ อธิบายความขัดแย้งทางการเมืองไทยในช่วงสองทศวรรษที่ผ่านมา ผ่านการวิเคราะห์ขบวนการเสื้อแดง จังหวัดขอนแก่น โดยใช้ทฤษฎีกรอบโครงความคิด (framing) เป็นเครื่องมือหลักในการทำความเข้าใจขบวนการ วิธีการดำเนินเลือกใช้การวิจัยด้านเอกสาร (documentary research) การสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึก (in-dept interview) ประวัติศาสตร์จากคำบอกเล่า (oral history) และการสนทนากลุ่ม (focus group) ของผู้นำและมวลชนคนเสื้อแดงจังหวัดขอนแก่น งานศึกษานี้ชี้ให้เห็นว่ากรอบโครงความคิดของความอยุติธรรม (injustice frame) เป็นกรอบโครงความคิดหลัก (master frame) ของขบวนการเสื้อแดงเชื่อมโยงรวบรวมความคิดทางการเมืองของชาวบ้านที่หลากหลาย อยู่กระจัดกระจายและอ่อนแอได้ กรอบโครงความคิดที่ถูกสร้างขึ้นได้ร้อยรัดทัศนคติที่แตกต่างกันของปัจเจกบุคคล และสร้างความหมายร่วมกันของคนเสื้อแดงลุกขึ้นมามีปฏิบัติการทางการเมือง อย่างไรก็ตามกระบวนการสร้างกรอบโครงความคิดของขบวนการเสื้อแดงก็มิได้เป็นไปอย่างง่ายดาย แต่ทว่างานศึกษานี้ค้นพบกระบวนการตอบโต้กรอบโครงความคิด (counter framing) การปะทะ ต่อสู้ ต่อรองของมวลชนในฐานะผู้กระทำการทางการเมือง (political actor) มวลชนมิได้นำเชื่อกรอบโครงความคิดที่ถูกผลิตขึ้นอย่างง่ายดาย จนในบางครั้งมวลชนเองก็มีความพยายามที่จะลบล้างเพื่อสร้างกรอบโครงความคิดใหม่ขึ้นมาทดแทน (reframing)

การศึกษาวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาลักษณะ รูปแบบ สภาพปัญหาและสาเหตุของอาชญากรรมที่ใช้บิทคอยน์ในฐานะสกุลเงินเข้ารหัสเป็นเครื่องมือ ตลอดจนศึกษาแนวนโยบาย กฎหมายและมาตรการต่างๆที่เกี่ยวข้องกับสกุลเงินเข้ารหัสทั้งในประเทศไทยและต่างประเทศ เพื่อเสนอแนวทางการป้องกันอาชญากรรมที่เกี่ยวกับสกุลเงินเข้ารหัสในประเทศไทยได้อย่างเหมาะสม การศึกษาวิจัยครั้งนี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพด้วยการศึกษาจากเอกสารและการวิจัยภาคสนามโดยการเก็บข้อมูลจากผู้ให้ข้อมูลสำคัญ ผลการศึกษาพบว่าปัจจุบันมีการนำบิทคอยน์ไปใช้เป็นเครื่องมือในการก่ออาชญากรรมโดยตรงด้วยการนำไปใช้เป็นสื่อกลางในการกระทำความผิดในรูปแบบต่างๆ ได้แก่ การซื้อขายแลกเปลี่ยนสินค้าและบริการที่ผิดกฎหมาย การฟอกเงินและการสนับสนุนเงินทุนให้กลุ่มผู้ก่อการร้าย และการนำไปใช้เป็นเครื่องมือในทางอ้อมด้วยการนำเอาชื่อของบิทคอยน์ไปหลอกลวงฉ้อโกงในลักษณะคล้ายกันกับแชร์ลูกโซ่ โดยมีสภาพปัญหาและสาเหตุจากลักษณะพิเศษต่างๆของบิทคอยน์ที่เอื้อต่อการนำไปใช้ในการก่ออาชญากรรม โดยเฉพาะคุณสมบัติที่ไม่มีการเปิดเผยตัวตนผู้ใช้งาน สภาพปัญหาและสาเหตุจากกฎหมาย ได้แก่ สถานภาพทางกฎหมายที่ไม่ชัดเจนของบิทคอยน์ กฎหมายที่เกี่ยวข้องยังไม่สามารถใช้ป้องกันการนำบิทคอยน์ไปใช้ในการกระทำผิดได้ ปัญหาในด้านการตีความกฎหมายที่ขัดแย้งกันเกี่ยวกับการเก็บพยานหลักฐานทางอิเล็กทรอนิกส์ และการขาดกฎหมายที่บัญญัติหลักเกณฑ์และวิธีการในการยึดและอายัดบิทคอยน์ รวมทั้งสภาพปัญหาและสาเหตุจากการบังคับใช้กฎหมายที่เจ้าหน้าที่ที่เกี่ยวข้องยังขาดองค์ความรู้ วิธีการ และเครื่องมือหรือกลไกต่างๆ ทั้งยังขาดการบูรณาการร่วมกันทั้งจากหน่วยงานของรัฐ ภาคเอกชนและความร่วมมือระหว่างประเทศ และจากการศึกษาแนวนโยบาย กฎหมายและมาตรการต่างๆที่เกี่ยวข้องพบว่าแต่ละประเทศมีทิศทางการกำหนดนโยบายที่แตกต่างกันทั้งรูปแบบของการยอมรับ กึ่งยอมรับกึ่งควบคุม และปฏิเสธบิทคอยน์และสกุลเงินเข้ารหัสต่างๆขึ้นอยู่กับแนวคิดทางการเมือง สภาพเศรษฐกิจและวัฒนธรรมของประเทศนั้นๆ ทั้งนี้ ประเทศไทยควรมีการกำหนดมาตรการในการยืนยันตัวตนผู้ใช้งาน กำหนดหลักปฏิบัติในการเก็บรวบรวมพยานหลักฐานทางอิเล็กทรอนิกส์ที่ชัดเจน บัญญัติหลักกฎหมายเกี่ยวกับการยึดและอายัดสกุลเงินเข้ารหัส ส่งเสริมให้มีการศึกษาวิจัยและพัฒนาองค์ความรู้ เครื่องมือ และกลไกต่างๆ การสร้างความร่วมมือระหว่างหน่วยงานภาครัฐและภาคเอกชนและหน่วยงานระหว่างประเทศ รวมทั้งการผลักดันให้มีการพัฒนาสกุลเงินดิจิทัลแห่งชาติ และการสร้างความรับรู้ให้แก่ประชาชนในประเด็นที่เกี่ยวข้องกับอาชญากรรมที่เกี่ยวกับสกุลเงินเข้ารหัส

Ostracism, feeling excluded or ignored, has been associated with increased risk-taking behavior on a number of self-report and lab-based measures (Buelow & Wirth, 2017; Duclos, Wan, & Jiang, 2012; Falk et al., 2014; Svetieva et al. 2016). Anger mediates the relationship between ostracism and risk-taking (Svetieva et al., 2016), and it is possible that emotion-regulation strategies to reduce anger may minimize this relationship.
