As our understanding of PTSD has advanced, changing demographics in the United States over the past few decades have led to a growing awareness of the mental health needs of an increasingly diverse and multicultural population. Research on ethnoracial differences in PTSD has had mixed results and additional research exploring possible contributing factors is needed to better explain observed differences. This study explored the presence of and contributing factors to clinician bias in the diagnoses of PTSD based on race and context. This learning module focuses on two broad topics — hazardous waste and brownfields — and is suitable for courses in environmental and sustainability planning, environmental engineering, environmental science, environmental studies, and community development. The first topic explains different types of hazardous waste and challenges associated with them, discusses landfills and Superfund sites, presents consequences of Superfund sites using historical case studies, and finally introduces Cradle-to-Grave hazardous waste management systems. In 2015, the Libraries began scanning theses and dissertations that were housed in our offsite storage facility. Many of these were single copies that were not held by any other library in the world, so we have insured their long term preservation in both print and electronic forms. We began scanning theses and dissertations in a then-cramped Gunnin Architecture Library, and are now scanning theses and dissertations housed in Cooper. The digitization process results in the removal of the circulating copies from Cooper and Gunnin, the creation of an electronic copy that is accessible anywhere on campus, and one non-circulating …
