คงไม่มีใครปฏิเสธได้ว่า ข้อมูล (Data) เป็นสิ่งที่สำคัญและจำเป็นอย่างยิ่งต่อารดำ เนินงานธุรกิจแทบทุกประเภท โดยเฉพาะอย่างยิ่งกระแสของข้อมูลขนาดใหญ่ (Big Data) หรืออภิมหาข้อมูลซึ่งกำลังเป็นที่นิยมในขณะนี้ ทำให้ข้อมูลมีความสำคัญต่อธุรกิจมากขึ้น อันจะเป็นการเพิ่มศักยภาพการแข่งขันได้เป็นอย่างดี ซึ่งการบริหารจัดการ การวิเคราะห์เชิงลึกจึงมีบทบาทในการที่จะได้รับประโยชน์จากข้อมูลอย่างเต็มที่มากตามไปด้วย ในอดีตที่ผ่านมา การเกิดขึ้นของข้อมูล มักเกิดจากหน่วยงานย่อยๆ ที่ต่างคนต่างสร้างขึ้นและจัดเก็บเป็นเอกเทศ เพื่อใช้เฉพาะในงานของตนเอง ไม่ได้มีการออกแบบในภาพรวมเพื่อใช้ข้อมูลร่วมกัน โดยมักจะขาดการบริหารจัดการข้อมูลที่ดี (Good Data Governance) ส่งผลให้การจัดเก้บ และใช้ข้อมูลมีความซ้ำซ้อน (Data Redundancy) และมีข้อมูลที่อาจไม่ถูกต้องตรงกัน (Data Inconsistency) หรือที่เรียกว่า "Information Silo"

การบริหารจัดการข้อมูลด้านการศึกษาผ่านระบบสารสนเทศภูมิศาสตร์ (Gis), สรรเพชญ ชื้อนิธิไพศาล

สถาบันส่งเสริมการสอนวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี (สสวท.) จัดตั้งขึ้นเพื่อดำเนินงานเกี่ยวกับการจัดการศึกษาด้านวิทยาศาสตร์ คณิตศาสตร์ และเทคโนโลยี โดยครอบคลุมการศึกษาตั้งแต่ระดับประถมศึกษามัธยมศึกษาตอนต้น มัธยมศึกษาตอนปลาย และหลักสูตรวิชาวิทยาศาสตร์และคณิตศาสตร์สายอาชีวศึกษา ซึ่งเป็นภารกิจที่ครอบคลุมเกือบทุกบริบทของการจัดการเรียนการสอนด้านวิทยาศาสตร์ คณิตศาสตร์ และ เทคโนโลยีของประเทศ ให้ก้าวหน้าทัดเทียมกับนานาชาติ โครงการและกิจกรรมต่างๆ ที่เกิดขึ้นจากภารกิจของ สสวท. จะถูกผลักดันไปสู่โรงเรียนในระดับปฐมวัย จนถึง ระดับมัธยมศึกษาตอนปลาย ทั้งในส่วนของนักเรียนและครู ค่าดัชนีชี้้วัดและผลการดำเนินงานจึงสามารถวัดจากผลผลิตหรือผลลัพธ์ ที่เกิดขึ้น จากกิจกรรมต่างๆ ในระดับโรงเรียนเป็นหลัก ข้อมูลการดำเนินงานและผลการดำเนินงานต่างๆ ของ สสวท. ส่วนใหญ่จะสามารถเชื่อมโยงเข้ากับโรงเรียน ซึ่งการนำเสนอผลการดำเนินงานในรูปแบบของแผนที่ จะช่วยให้ผู้ปฏิบัติงานทุกระดับ รวมถึงผู้บริหาร สามารถมองเห็นภาพรวมได้อย่างชัดเจน และช่วยให้การดำเนินงานวางแผนในระดับนโยบายของหน่วยงานกระทำได้ง่ายขึ้น

Assessment Of Groundwater Contamination By Textile Effluent Discharges In Ikorodu, Nigeria, Oludare H. Adedeji, Oluwafunmilayo O. Olayinka

This paper assessed physicochemical properties (temperature, pH, acidity, alkalinity, colour,odour, taste, EC, TDS, TH, turbidity, bicarbonate, phosphate, nitrate, Ca2+, Mg2+, Na+, K+, Cl-& SO42-as well as heavy metal concentrations heavy metals (Cd, Cr, Cu, Fe, Pb and Zn) of selected wells and borehole near textile industries in Ikorodu, Nigeria. The physicochemical parameters were analysed using standard methods by APHA, while heavy metals were analysedusing atomic absorption spectrometer (AAS). The pH of water from the boreholes and hand-dugwells ranged from 5.90 to 6.70. The well water had higher total hardness, calcium, magnesium, sulphate and chloride compared to the boreholes. Flooding remains a common environmental hazard worldwide, causing some of the most devastating natural disasters of the last century. This is why understanding public perception hasbecome such an important topic for policy makers concerned with flood risk management.This study investigated public perception of flooding events through analysis of risk communi-cation for Thailand's flood crisis in 2011. An online questionnaire was electronically distributed toresidents potentially affected by flooding in Bangkok. Results from 437 returned surveys indi-cate that Thai residents tend to display both cognitive and affective biases in their perceptions of flood risk. This studycompared thecontamination of the chemotherapeutic agent cyclophosphamide between using a conventional admixing procedure and closed system transfer devices (CSTDs). Surface wipes and urine samples were collected for two weeks before and two weeks after the CSTDs were used. The surface wipe samples were collected from critical areas in an aseptic dispensary unit and a chemotherapy patient care unit. The urine samples were collected from healthcare workers. Contamination from cyclophosphamide in the surface wipe samples was detected in fewer areas following the implementation of CSTDs. This paper reviews contamination status, sources and remediation of Cd in agricultural land in Mae Sot District, Tak Province, Northwestern Thailand. The Cd contamination becamean environmental issue because mining of a Zn deposit area located uphill of the Mae Tao creekscaused movement of Cd and Zn along the creek to contaminate agricultural soils downstream. Blood Cd levels of residents in this contaminated area were found to exceed the national average of 0.5 µg g-1creatinine.
