In Thailand, marriage has been one of many women’s aspirations. However, nowadays women’s labor force participation has increased, and women have become more economically independent as a result of higher education attainment. An important question is whether these factors lead to an older age of marriage or even a choice remaining single. This paper analyzes how women’s education affects the marriage outcome and studies single women’s perspective towards marriage. Using data from survey of 422 women between the age of 22 and 60, we estimate the logistic regression of marriage outcome. We find that older women tend to remain single …

การศึกษาวิจัยเรื่องนี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพ มีวัตถุประสงค์ 2 ประการ คือ 1) เพื่อศึกษาเปรียบเทียบขั้นตอนการสรรหาและจัดรับพนักงานและเหตุผลที่เปลี่ยนขั้นตอนการสรรหาและจัดรับพนักงานผ่านระบบสารสนเทศ 2) การสรรหาและจัดรับพนักงานผ่านระบบสารสนเทศมีประสิทธิผลมากขึ้นหรือไม่ กลุ่มตัวอย่างในการศึกษาวิจัยครั้งนี้ คือ หน่วยงานสรรหาและจัดรับพนักงาน สังกัดทรัพยากรบุคคล หน่วยงานลูกค้าธุรกิจรายปลีกและหน่วยงานลูกค้าธุรกิจรายกลาง เป็นการสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึก (In-depth Interview) โดยนำข้อมูลที่ได้จากการสัมภาษณ์มาวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลเรียบเรียงใหม่ในเชิงพรรณนาความ ผลการวิจัยพบว่า 1) ขั้นตอนการสรรหาและจัดรับพนักงานแบบปกติมีขั้นตอนทั้งหมด 24 ขั้นตอน ใช้ระยะเวลาทั้งกระบวนการโดยประมาณ 5 – 6 เดือน และขั้นตอนการสรรหาและจัดรับพนักงานผ่านระบบสารสนเทศมีขั้นตอนทั้งหมด 18 ขั้นตอน ใช้ระยะเวลาทั้งกระบวนการโดยประมาณ 1.5 – 2 เดือน สรุปได้ว่าเหตุผลหลักที่เปลี่ยนขั้นตอน คือ ปัจจัยของระยะเวลานาน ไม่สามารถจัดรับพนักงานได้ตามปริมาณในเวลาที่กำหนด จึงทำให้หน่วยงานมีความพึงพอใจต่ำต่อฝ่ายบุคคล 2) การสรรหาและจัดรับพนักงานผ่านระบบสารสนเทศมีประสิทธิผลมากขึ้นจริง ดังนี้ บุคลากร มีการพัฒนาศักยภาพ ความรู้ความสามารถของฝ่ายบุคคลให้เข้าใจธุรกิจหน่วยงานมากยิ่งขึ้น การออกแบบขั้นตอนที่มีประสิทธิภาพมากขึ้น คือ ลดขั้นตอนที่ไม่จำเป็นออกเพื่อกระชับขั้นตอนให้มีประสิทธิภาพ เทคโนโลยี ขั้นตอนการสรรหาและจัดรับพนักงานทุกขั้นตอนลงระบบสารสนเทศ เครื่องมือ เพิ่มการประเมินผลสัมภาษณ์ที่มีมาตรฐานเดียวกัน สรุปได้ว่าประสิทธิผลจากการเปลี่ยนขั้นตอนการสรรหาและจัดรับพนักงานนั้นทำให้มีคุณภาพมากยิ่งขึ้น ทั้งเรื่องคุณภาพการทำงานของฝ่ายบุคคล คุณภาพของกระบวนการ คุณภาพของเครื่องมือในการสัมภาษณ์และคุณภาพของผู้สมัครที่มีความเหมาะสมกับงาน ทำให้หน่วยงานได้พนักงานเข้ามาทำงานทันกำหนดตามปริมาณที่ต้องการ อีกทั้งเปลี่ยนขั้นตอนให้กระชับ ทำให้ระยะเวลาในการสรรหาและจัดรับพนักงานเร็วขึ้น หน่วยงานจึงมีความพึงพอใจต่อฝ่ายบุคคลมากขึ้นเช่นกัน

การวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาปัจจัยที่จําแนกระหว่างผู้ทํางานอาสาสมัครกับผู้ไม่ทํางานอาสาสมัครในกลุ่มนิสิตนักศึกษาเขตกรุงเทพมหานครและปริมณฑล กลุ่มตัวอย่างในการวิจัยครั้งนี้เป็นนิสิตนักศึกษาทุกระดับชั้นที่มีอายุระหว่าง 19-30 ปี (M = 22.13 ปี, SD = 3.37) จำแนกตามการทำกิจกรรมอาสาสมัครออกเป็น 2 กลุ่ม ได้แก่ ผู้ทำกิจกรรมอาสาสมัครในช่วง 6 เดือนที่ผ่านมา 142 คน และผู้ไม่ทำกิจกรรมอาสาสมัครในช่วง 6 เดือนที่ผ่านมา 120 คน ตัวแปรที่ศึกษาในการวิจัยประกอบด้วย การมีจุดมุ่งหมายในชีวิต ความเชื่อมั่นในศาสนา การจัดการความรู้สึกด้านลบ การสร้างคุณค่าให้กับสังคม การพัฒนาตนเองด้านการทำงาน การพัฒนาตนเองด้านการเรียนรู้และเข้าใจ การเห็นคุณค่าในตนเอง การพัฒนาตนเองด้านความสัมพันธ์ในสังคม และการมีต้นแบบจากพ่อ แม่ หรือเพื่อน ตัวแปรตามคือการเป็นอาสาสมัคร เครื่องมือที่ใช้ในการวิจัย คือแบบสอบถามข้อมูลทั่วไป แบบสอบถามความเชื่อมั่นในศาสนา แบบสอบถามการมีต้นแบบจากพ่อ แม่ หรือเพื่อนเป็นอาสาสมัคร แบบวัดแรงจูงใจในการทำกิจกรรมอาสาสมัคร และแบบวัดการมีจุดมุ่งหมายในชีวิต ใช้การวิเคราะห์ข้อมูลด้วยวิธีถดถอยโลจิสติก ผลการวิจัยสามารถอธิบายความแปรปรวนของการเป็นอาสาสมัครได้ร้อยละ 17.8 โดยมีปัจจัยที่สามารถจำแนกการเป็นอาสาสมัครได้อย่างมีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ (p< .05) 3 ประการได้แก่ ความเชื่อมั่นในศาสนา การมีต้นแบบจากพ่อ แม่ หรือเพื่อน และการมีจุดมุ่งหมายในชีวิต ทั้งนี้สมการถดถอยโลจิสติกสามารถทำนายการเป็นอาสาสมัครได้ร้อยละ 65.6

วิทยานิพนธ์ฉบับนี้ อธิบายความขัดแย้งทางการเมืองไทยในช่วงสองทศวรรษที่ผ่านมา ผ่านการวิเคราะห์ขบวนการเสื้อแดง จังหวัดขอนแก่น โดยใช้ทฤษฎีกรอบโครงความคิด (framing) เป็นเครื่องมือหลักในการทำความเข้าใจขบวนการ วิธีการดำเนินเลือกใช้การวิจัยด้านเอกสาร (documentary research) การสัมภาษณ์เชิงลึก (in-dept interview) ประวัติศาสตร์จากคำบอกเล่า (oral history) และการสนทนากลุ่ม (focus group) ของผู้นำและมวลชนคนเสื้อแดงจังหวัดขอนแก่น งานศึกษานี้ชี้ให้เห็นว่ากรอบโครงความคิดของความอยุติธรรม (injustice frame) เป็นกรอบโครงความคิดหลัก (master frame) ของขบวนการเสื้อแดงเชื่อมโยงรวบรวมความคิดทางการเมืองของชาวบ้านที่หลากหลาย อยู่กระจัดกระจายและอ่อนแอได้ กรอบโครงความคิดที่ถูกสร้างขึ้นได้ร้อยรัดทัศนคติที่แตกต่างกันของปัจเจกบุคคล และสร้างความหมายร่วมกันของคนเสื้อแดงลุกขึ้นมามีปฏิบัติการทางการเมือง อย่างไรก็ตามกระบวนการสร้างกรอบโครงความคิดของขบวนการเสื้อแดงก็มิได้เป็นไปอย่างง่ายดาย แต่ทว่างานศึกษานี้ค้นพบกระบวนการตอบโต้กรอบโครงความคิด (counter framing) การปะทะ ต่อสู้ ต่อรองของมวลชนในฐานะผู้กระทำการทางการเมือง (political actor) มวลชนมิได้นำเชื่อกรอบโครงความคิดที่ถูกผลิตขึ้นอย่างง่ายดาย จนในบางครั้งมวลชนเองก็มีความพยายามที่จะลบล้างเพื่อสร้างกรอบโครงความคิดใหม่ขึ้นมาทดแทน (reframing)

การศึกษาวิจัยครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษาลักษณะ รูปแบบ สภาพปัญหาและสาเหตุของอาชญากรรมที่ใช้บิทคอยน์ในฐานะสกุลเงินเข้ารหัสเป็นเครื่องมือ ตลอดจนศึกษาแนวนโยบาย กฎหมายและมาตรการต่างๆที่เกี่ยวข้องกับสกุลเงินเข้ารหัสทั้งในประเทศไทยและต่างประเทศ เพื่อเสนอแนวทางการป้องกันอาชญากรรมที่เกี่ยวกับสกุลเงินเข้ารหัสในประเทศไทยได้อย่างเหมาะสม การศึกษาวิจัยครั้งนี้เป็นการวิจัยเชิงคุณภาพด้วยการศึกษาจากเอกสารและการวิจัยภาคสนามโดยการเก็บข้อมูลจากผู้ให้ข้อมูลสำคัญ ผลการศึกษาพบว่าปัจจุบันมีการนำบิทคอยน์ไปใช้เป็นเครื่องมือในการก่ออาชญากรรมโดยตรงด้วยการนำไปใช้เป็นสื่อกลางในการกระทำความผิดในรูปแบบต่างๆ ได้แก่ การซื้อขายแลกเปลี่ยนสินค้าและบริการที่ผิดกฎหมาย การฟอกเงินและการสนับสนุนเงินทุนให้กลุ่มผู้ก่อการร้าย และการนำไปใช้เป็นเครื่องมือในทางอ้อมด้วยการนำเอาชื่อของบิทคอยน์ไปหลอกลวงฉ้อโกงในลักษณะคล้ายกันกับแชร์ลูกโซ่ โดยมีสภาพปัญหาและสาเหตุจากลักษณะพิเศษต่างๆของบิทคอยน์ที่เอื้อต่อการนำไปใช้ในการก่ออาชญากรรม โดยเฉพาะคุณสมบัติที่ไม่มีการเปิดเผยตัวตนผู้ใช้งาน สภาพปัญหาและสาเหตุจากกฎหมาย ได้แก่ สถานภาพทางกฎหมายที่ไม่ชัดเจนของบิทคอยน์ กฎหมายที่เกี่ยวข้องยังไม่สามารถใช้ป้องกันการนำบิทคอยน์ไปใช้ในการกระทำผิดได้ ปัญหาในด้านการตีความกฎหมายที่ขัดแย้งกันเกี่ยวกับการเก็บพยานหลักฐานทางอิเล็กทรอนิกส์ และการขาดกฎหมายที่บัญญัติหลักเกณฑ์และวิธีการในการยึดและอายัดบิทคอยน์ รวมทั้งสภาพปัญหาและสาเหตุจากการบังคับใช้กฎหมายที่เจ้าหน้าที่ที่เกี่ยวข้องยังขาดองค์ความรู้ วิธีการ และเครื่องมือหรือกลไกต่างๆ ทั้งยังขาดการบูรณาการร่วมกันทั้งจากหน่วยงานของรัฐ ภาคเอกชนและความร่วมมือระหว่างประเทศ และจากการศึกษาแนวนโยบาย กฎหมายและมาตรการต่างๆที่เกี่ยวข้องพบว่าแต่ละประเทศมีทิศทางการกำหนดนโยบายที่แตกต่างกันทั้งรูปแบบของการยอมรับ กึ่งยอมรับกึ่งควบคุม และปฏิเสธบิทคอยน์และสกุลเงินเข้ารหัสต่างๆขึ้นอยู่กับแนวคิดทางการเมือง สภาพเศรษฐกิจและวัฒนธรรมของประเทศนั้นๆ ทั้งนี้ ประเทศไทยควรมีการกำหนดมาตรการในการยืนยันตัวตนผู้ใช้งาน กำหนดหลักปฏิบัติในการเก็บรวบรวมพยานหลักฐานทางอิเล็กทรอนิกส์ที่ชัดเจน บัญญัติหลักกฎหมายเกี่ยวกับการยึดและอายัดสกุลเงินเข้ารหัส ส่งเสริมให้มีการศึกษาวิจัยและพัฒนาองค์ความรู้ เครื่องมือ และกลไกต่างๆ การสร้างความร่วมมือระหว่างหน่วยงานภาครัฐและภาคเอกชนและหน่วยงานระหว่างประเทศ รวมทั้งการผลักดันให้มีการพัฒนาสกุลเงินดิจิทัลแห่งชาติ และการสร้างความรับรู้ให้แก่ประชาชนในประเด็นที่เกี่ยวข้องกับอาชญากรรมที่เกี่ยวกับสกุลเงินเข้ารหัส

Facebook users worldwide had been facing challenges of information credibility. This study aimed to address this issue among Thai Facebook users by focusing on health information in particular, through a lens of heuristic approach. Data were collected from 50 informants by in-depth interviews and 480 responses from online surveys. All participants were at least 18 years old with a minimum of one year experience in using Facebook. This research estimates compensating wage differentials for job risks for formal and informal workers in Thailand, the latter of whom are not covered by prevailing labor laws. Using data from the National Statistical Office’s Thai Labor Force Survey for years 2012 to 2018 merged with job fatality risk collected by the Social Security Office, the results show that the fatality risk rate has a positive, significant effect on wages. The value of statistical life for the median formal workers is 79.33 million baht compared to 41.5 million baht for the median informal worker. There are 3 key factors extracted from international trade data, which are the distance from Thailand to a product (distance), Product Complexity Index (PCI), the competition level of products. Distance reflects the potential of Thailand to successfully export the product base on existing capabilities. PCI informs the complexity of producing and exporting process of the product. This paper empirically explores causal relation between non-financial information and stock price performance by applying textual analysis to listed firms’ financial disclosure in Thailand. Managers generally use language in Management Discussion & Analysis (MD&A) report to communicate value-relevant information to investors and other stakeholders. I applied various kinds of approach to quantify qualitative information. I found that, on average, management discussion reports four main topics, which are financial performance, financial status, external factor and industry specific topic. This research aims to (i) establish the graphemes in the Ahom script by doing a graphemic analysis of the script, (ii) to examine the conditioned and unconditioned allographic patterns in the Ahom manuscripts and (iii) to interpret the variation patterns in relation to the Proto- Southwestern Tai phonemes. In the Thai-Cambodian Preah Vihear Temple dispute, the perceptions of the Thai Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MFA) are investigated. Through the employment of role theory, the MFA's national role conceptions (NRCs), since the Cold War period and with concentration on the years from 2008 to 2013, are explicated. The research presents that the organizational characteristics of the ministry conduce the propensity for cooperative NRCs. At the same time, as the agency dealing with foreign affairs, the material and ideational elements in the external environment are important determinants. The main purposes of this study were to delve into the effects of a growth mindset intervention on underprivileged students’ growth mindset in English intelligence and academic resilience in English and into the mediating role of the growth mindset. A Comparison Of Emotion Regulation Strategies’ Effectiveness Under Cognitive Fatigue, Sirinapa Churassamee

This research compared the effectiveness of three emotion regulation strategies including reappraisal, distraction, and affect labeling under cognitive fatigue. In the 2 (fatigue vs. non-fatigue) × 3 (emotion regulation strategies) within-subject design, 46 participants were randomly assigned into conditions using an incomplete block design method. Self-report negative emotions and skin conductance responses to emotion-eliciting pictures were measured to compare the effectiveness of the strategies. Results showed that reappraisal was more effective in regulating negative emotions than distraction and affect labeling in both fatigue and non-fatigue conditions. While reappraisal was a robust method of regulating emotion, the other two less-demanding strategies …

This paper focuses on the development process of Bangkok involving its transformation into a road-based city and eventually the ‘real center’ of Siam during 1782-1910. Even though its development into a road-based city was not directly related to its transformation into the real center of the kingdom, this important change significantly enhanced its power-center status. Ethnic Chinese people have actively participated in Thailand's economic activities throughout history. In the early 20th century, the ethnic Chinese family groups burrowed into the power-base of the economy - the banking industry in Thailand. The purpose of this study is to investigate the role of ethnic Chinese and their business strategy in Thailand’s banking sector development during the formative years of the banking industry. This study finds that ethnic Chinese attempted to establish commercial banks in Thailand before WWII but failed in competition with European capitals, while the European-owned banks could not succeed without hiring Chinese compradors to bridge …

This thesis examines biennial art festivals in Thailand, namely Bangkok Art Biennale 2018, Bangkok Biennial and Thailand Biennale. Each festival had a different type of biennial respectively and all represented the first biennial in Thailand. The biennial art festival can be traced back to the world fairs and grand tours in Europe. In the 19th century, Siamese elite conducted a grand tour to Europe and participated in world fairs. This research aims to analyze the exposure to “Love and Producer” mobile game’s Facebook Fanpage, consumers’ motivation, and loyalty. The research explores the relationship between the exposure to Love and Producer’s Facebook Fanpage and consumers’ motivation, as well as the relationship between consumers’ motivation and their loyalty. This quantitative research was conducted through an online survey which collected data from 200 female respondents, aged between 18 and 50 years old from all over the world in which 49% of the respondents are American. The objectives of this research are as of following: to explore brand experience and brand equity of Marimekko and to explore the relationship among these two variables. The respondents of this research are two hundred and three Thai women who are first-jobbers, living in Bangkok, aged between 18 to 25 years old and recently bought Marimekko’s products in the past six months. The results depicted that the respondents had a positive opinion on brand experience of Marimekko (M = 3.67). Emotional experience receives the highest mean score (M = 4.18).
