As we start to anticipate next year's ILS Migration, one thing is certain: Clean data will make the migration easier--at the local and consortium levels. This presentation will provide ideas and resources to help institutions start or accelerate database and system maintenance in preparation for migration. Erin Kilkenny will discuss OhioLINK's database maintenance projects in the Central Catalog and highlight resources available via Ostaff. A Computational Approach To Ricardo’S And Marx’S Business Cycle Models, Hee-Young Shin

The goal of this paper is to reconstruct both Ricardo's and Marx's nonlinear dynamic models of business cycle, utilizing computational power of Wolfram Mathematica. The paper aims to replicate Ricardo's and Marx's business cycle models and attempts to extend their original ideas to account for some new stylized facts of contemporary capitalist market economies such as financialization and increasing rentiers' income and corporate offshoring phenomenon.

Background: The purpose of this study was to assess the unmet health care needs of children with intellectual disability (ID) compared with children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and whether access to health insurance coverage is a contributing factor. Children with ID may be masked in the health care system due to increased diagnosis and awareness of ASD. The needs, unmet needs and insurance coverage of children with ID alone, ASD alone, and co-occurring ID and ASD were assessed in this study.

Public administration upholds four pillars of an administrative practice: economy, efficiency, effectiveness, and social equity. The question arises, however, how do administrators balance effectiveness and social equity when implementing policy? Can the values contributing to administrative decisions be measured? This study leverages the expansion of medical cannabis programs in the states to interrogate these questions. The awarding of dispensary licenses in Pennsylvania affords the ability to determine the effect of social equity scoring on license award decisions, relative to criteria that represent the other pillars. Care, Job Guarantee, And Revisiting “Socialization Of Investment”: Insights From Institutional Economics, Zdravka Todorova

The paper discusses commitment to full employment in light of institutional theory and offers a renewed examination of Keynes’s "socialization of investment" concept. The discussion builds on Veblen's theory of human development, predation, and capitalism. It highlights contemporary institutional inquiry in a discussion of ongoing issues of care and social disparities. Based on this, the article formulates problems for a broader inquiry about socialization of investment. The article provides insights about Job Guarantee based on original institutional economics concepts.
