Employee onboarding and socialization experienced by local government information technology (IT) employees is an industry issue among those without prior public sector employment. This study entailed an evaluation of the onboarding process by gathering perspectives from a local government IT department to help an organization understand onboarding and socialization needs and desires of new employees. Decreasing financial health damages an organization’s reputation and economic viability to survive. Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs) leaders must strive to improve their financial health to protect their institution’s reputation and risk of closure. Grounded in strategic enrollment management theory, the purpose of this quantitative ex-post facto study was to examine the relationship between student enrollment, student retention, alumni giving, and financial health of HBCUs. The purpose of this generic qualitative study was to explore CEO/CFO rural area nonprofits’ experiences with obtaining grant funding for their programs. The conceptual framework that guided this study was the critical rural theory. Participants were obtained using purposeful sampling and snowball sampling via flyers placed on social media outlets. Intergenerational trauma has perpetuated familial estrangement for decades within the adult children of alcoholics (ACOA) population. The purpose of this study was to understand forgiveness within maternal estrangement in female ACOAs to address a gap in literature on female ACOAs from a higher socioeconomic status. Vote-by-mail (VBM) ballots that were returned inaccurately during past general elections contributed to votes that were not counted in Florida. Since 2016, more than 600,000 mail ballots were not counted in the state; 73,000 were not counted in Broward County, Florida. The problem was that VBM ballots were returned as incomplete due to missing or mismatched signatures and not counted during the election processes. Veterans who are returning to civilian life often experience barriers to seeking mental healthcare. The purpose of this quantitative, non-experimental, correlational study was to determine the extent to which race, PTSD symptoms, and attitudes toward help-seeking (psychological openness, help-seeking propensity, indifference to stigma) predict help-seeking intentions and help-seeking behavior among military veterans. Ajzen’s theory of planned behavior was the basis for this study. A convenience sample of 105 veterans (53 African Americans, 52 Caucasians) were recruited via Alchemer. Prior research has indicated CITs withheld information as often as 97% of the time in some cases. The current study aimed to identify if there was a relationship between cross-ethnic racial identity and cognitive empathy for others and whether social and personal identities mediated this effect. Self-categorization theory was used as the theoretical framework. In this study, it was hypothesized that cross-ethnic racial identity significantly predicts empathic accuracy, and that social and personal identities mediate this relationship.
