The properties of surfactants of anionic polyelectrolytes are investigated depending on the nature of the medium, conformational states neutralized by organic bases, differing in the length of the hydrocarbon radical. The concept of the role of the state of macromolecules in solution in the indicated processes has been developed. The anionic carboxyl-containing polyelectrolytes synthesized on the basis of methacrylic acid differed not only in the length of the hydrocarbon radical of the organic base - counterion, but also in their branching. In this article, the results of comparative analysis of electrocardiogram are shown for the cows of different breeds in the Aral Sea region. It is set that the high temperature of the environment and sunny insolation render a negative influence on the functional parameters of the cardiac vascular system of animals. There are facts about the cows of different breeds at the influence of different temperatures that have unidirectional functional changes in the operation of the heart. Photoelectric Injection Amplification Of Al–Al2o3–P-Cdte–Mo Structures At Low Bias Voltages, A K. Uteniyazov

The results of studies of photoelectric injection enhancement of the Al–Al2O3–p-CdTe –Mo structure upon application of low bias voltages. It has been shown that the studied Al-Al2O3–p-CdTe-Mo structure under can be represented as a n+-p-Rом structure with a long base. Conducted researches show that Al-Al2O3–p-CdTe-Mo structure has unique properties. It has very high photocurrent and photosensitivity at both direct and reverse dias voltage under even small bias voltage (up to 500mV).

In this article glycyrrhizic acid content with menthol in several various proportions (2:1; 4:1; 9:1), information was given on synthesis and physical and chemical properties of new supermolecular complexes. Spectrophotometric Characterization Of The Complexation Of Gossypol Acetic Acid With Cobalt Ion, Ugilay Abdurahmanova, Habibjon Kushiev, Maral Askarova, Dilafruz Allanazarova

The authors of the article suggest simple and express method of spectrophotometric determination of cobalt with the help of derivatives of gossypol. Optimal conditions of determining cobalt are found. Under optimal conditions there was created a graded graph, which is more linear in the range for cobalt concentration of 10.0 – 50.0 microgram/25 ml, contents and constants of cobalt complex with gossypol vinegar acid.

The article deals with the synthesis of effective algorithms for controlling a chemical reactor and developed a fuzzy synergistic controller for a class of indefinite nonlinear dynamic systems. A synergetic control scheme is proposed for solving the control problem for nonlinear systems. Non-linear systems with configurations and parameters that change over time require a completely non-linear model and adaptive control scheme for a practical operating environment. The synthesis of control laws is performed by the method of analytical design of aggregated controllers (ACAR). The Thayer method of instruction is a little-known active learning technique that dates back to 1817 at the U.S. Military Academy. This study describes the implementation and statistical evaluation of an adaptation of the Thayer method in a variety of college science and math courses. All courses had five characteristics in common: (i) students were given a daily reading schedule and instructed to prepare before class, (ii) each class started with a question and answer session, (iii) class time minimized the use of lecture, (iv) class time maximized the use of active learning, and (v) students were frequently quizzed. Conical intersections (CIs) are points of degeneracy between two or more potential energy surfaces. Due to the intersection point, it is much easier for molecules to transition their electronic, vibrational, and rotational energies between surfaces. Therefore, CIs are critical to the study of excited states, particularly in the context of photochemistry. However, they are difficult to study because they interfere with traditional thermodynamics and deviate from the Born-Oppenheimer approximation. In 2017, the World Health Organization reported that 10 million people were infected with tuberculosis, 1.6 million of whom died. Tuberculosis is caused by a bacterium called Mycobacterium tuberculosis, which primarily infects an individual’s lungs. Unfortunately, failure to adhere to the long and arduous drug regimen has contributed to the emergence of antibiotic-resistant strains of M. tuberculosis. Therefore, the need for novel antibiotics is imperative to saving millions of lives. Our lab has recently developed a family of diphenyl ureas that exhibited increased antimicrobial activity toward Mycobacterium. The mission of the Annual Postdoctoral Science Symposium (APSS) is to provide a platform for talented postdoctoral fellows throughout the Texas Medical Center to present their work to a wider audience. The MD Anderson Postdoctoral Association convened its inaugural Annual Postdoctoral Science Symposium (APSS) on August 4, 2011.
The APSS provides a professional venue for postdoctoral scientists to develop, clarify, and refine their research as a result of formal reviews and critiques of faculty and other postdoctoral scientists. This brief paper explains the slight differences in governing equations for a fluid film in a spinning cone, and the mechanism that reduces the order of a solution. Spinning cones with a centrally supplied fluid that spreads over its inner surface as a thin film have been the subject of interest for many years. Though often cast as a mathematical analysis, understanding this process is important, especially in the application of automotive painting. The analysis consists of a system of equations obtained from the Navier–Stokes equations along with simple boundary conditions that describe radial and tangential momentum conservation. The Sigma-1 receptor (S1R) is an important pharmaceutical target that has been linked to several neurological diseases and drug addiction. It has been proposed that multimerization of S1R is important for attenuating its interactions with the dopamine transporter (DAT) and that S1R agonists promote dissociation to a monomeric form necessary for DAT interaction. This project aims to assess the role of the N-terminal transmembrane domain in oligomerization and binding activity of the mammalian Sigma-1 receptor (S1R). This paper describes the development and implementation of engaging and supportive experiences to promote student engagement, persistence and success at a commuter, open enrollment, public, minority serving institution. This paper describes a collaborative project involving mathematicians, scientists and educators at an Australian university where an innovative initial teacher education (ITE) degree in mathematics/science was developed. The theoretical frameworks of identity theory and academic brokerage and their use in understanding the challenges associated with the early stages of collaborative projects is described. Data from reflections and interviews of the participants after involvement in the project from one to three years are presented to illustrate these challenges. The goal was to make a renewable fuel by using catalysts to remove oxygen molecules from fats. This is a current issue that society faces today because nonrenewable fossil fuels hurt the environment more than they help it. There are two components that make up a heterogeneous catalyst, a support and a reduced metal active phase. A Quantum Astrochemical Perspective On The C-C3h Radical With Application To The Interstellar Medium, Matthew Bassett

The interstellar medium (ISM) has been an area of focus for astrochemists and quantum chemists for many years, with particular interest in the presence of interstellar molecules and the resulting chemical processes. The c-C3H radical has been detected in the ISM near the dark molecular cloud TMC-1. With the application of ab initio computational methods using coupled-cluster theory at the singles, doubles, and perturbative triples [CCSD(T)] level, highly accurate quartic force fields (QFFs) are constructed to define the electronic wavefunction for the inter nuclear Hamiltonian. Tying The Knot: Applications Of Topology To Chemistry, Tarini S. Hardikar

Chirality (or handedness) is the property that a structure is “different” from its mirror image. Topology can be used to provide a rigorous framework for the notion of chirality. This project examines various types of chirality and discusses tools to detect chirality in graphs and knots. Notable theorems that are discussed in this work include ones that identify chirality using properties of link polynomials (HOMFLY polynomials), rigid vertex graphs, and knot linking numbers. The solid-liquid (s-l) interface is the most common interface encountered in electrochemical systems. The s-l interface has wide applications in energy storage, catalysis, and material sciences. In situ studies of chemical reactions taking place on the s-l interfaces can further our understanding of electron transfer and link to real-world device functions under challenging conditions. Direct probing of the solid electrode and liquid electrolyte interface has been realized using a vacuum compatible electrochemical microfluidic reactor, system for analysis at the liquid vacuum interface (SALVI) with time-of-flight secondary ion mass spectrometry (ToF-SIMS).
