Study On The Ti/Sno2/Pbo2 Anode In Sulphuric Acid Solution, Yao-Gang Li, Yan-Pin Shun, Wen-Lin Xu

Journal of Electrochemistry

The Ti/SnO2/PbO2 electrode, prepared by the electrodeposition method, was tested as the anode for the oxygen evolution reaction in 1 mol/L H2SO4 solution and examined by means of EDS, SEM and XRD. The electrocatalytic activity and the electrochemical stability of the prepared electrode were found to be superior.

Co-Wc Composite Elecrode, Zeshan Zhu, Xiufeng Xiao, Rongfang Liu, Jingying Shi Feb 1997

Co-Wc Composite Elecrode, Zeshan Zhu, Xiufeng Xiao, Rongfang Liu, Jingying Shi

Journal of Electrochemistry

Electrodepositing Co-WC composite coatings from cobalt electro bath including WC particles was studied. WC particles accelerate the cathode reaction of composie electrodeposition. In alkaline solution the electrocatalytic properties of evoluting hydrogen were investigated. The results show that the properties of electrode remain superior and stable in a long term interval electrolyzing experiment.

The Preparation Of Heteropoly Compound Polypyrrole Film Modified Electrode And Its Electrochemical Properties, Weiqing Wang, Xiumei Zhang, Long Cheng, Baifeng Liu, Shaojun Dong

Journal of Electrochemistry

Electronically conducting polypyrrole doped with heteropolyanions K10H3[Nd(SiMo7W4)2]·xH2O(denoted as [Nd(SiMo7W4)2]13-) was synthesized by electrochemical polymerization. This modified electrode maintains the electrochemical and electrocatalytic properties of heteropolyanion, with having good stability and electrocatalytic activity on the reduction of nitric oxide in acidic aqueous solution.

A Investigation Of Hydrogen-Storage Alloy As Catalytic Electrode For Hydrogenation Of Nitrobenzene, Shigang Lu, Hanxi Yang, Changfa Wan Feb 1995

A Investigation Of Hydrogen-Storage Alloy As Catalytic Electrode For Hydrogenation Of Nitrobenzene, Shigang Lu, Hanxi Yang, Changfa Wan

Journal of Electrochemistry

Since hydrogen-storage alloy ean not only absorb hydrogen atoms to form highlyreactive metal hydride as hydrogen source by electrolysis but also possesses a certain catalytic activityfor hydrogenation,it is thus feasible to utilize the allov as a novel electrode for electrolvtichydrogenation in organic electroreduction. This work employed misch metal AB5 type alloy as acatalytic electrode and studied the electrochemical hydrogenation of nitrobenzene.

The hydrogen-storage electrode (MH) was a plastic bonded electrode sheet made from a paste of Mm(NiCoMnAl)5 alloy powder and teflon emulsion. The electrolysis was performed at constantcurrent and controlled potential in a three electrode cell of H-type …
