Introduction: Preventing ambulatory central line-associated bloodstream infections (A-CLABSIs) is challenging due to inconsistent education, follow-up, and home care practices. Pediatric intestinal failure (IF) patients are particularly vulnerable. This institution aimed to decrease its IF A-CLABSI rate by 25% within 2 years through a standardized, step-by-step central line care education program.

Methods: Using the Toyota problem-solving method, the team reviewed data and performed a root cause analysis of the prioritized problem, implementing a 2-phase education program. Background: This study aimed to evaluate the relationship between religious attitudes and breastfeeding attitudes and the effect of this relationship on breastfeeding practices.

Methods: This study was conducted with 203 mothers with babies aged 0–24 months. Simple random sampling was used in sample selection. The Religious Attitude Scale and Breastfeeding Attitudes of the Evaluation Scale were used in data collection.

Objective: The objective of this project was to address the inconsistent understanding and utilization of the Diabetic Ketoacidosis (DKA) protocol in a high-acuity emergency department within a large hospital system, where baseline survey results showed that 84% of nurses found the DKA order set confusing and only 15% felt “very comfortable” applying it.

Background: Increased awareness of health equity and a rise in hospital-acquired pressure injuries (HAPIs) to the scalp and head—particularly among pediatric patients with textured hair—prompted a comprehensive initiative at a pediatric healthcare organization. Environmental scanning revealed that while new haircare products had been introduced into clinical areas, staff lacked the training and resources to use them effectively. A current-state analysis survey of 133 staff members (86% clinical) revealed significant gaps: 69% had never received training in diverse haircare, 51% did not feel equipped to provide appropriate care, and 36% felt nervous or intimidated when caring for hair …

Across the literature, empowerment, accountability, and presence are consistently highlighted as essential leadership behaviors for effective shared governance that strengthens engagement and professional growth.
