Objective The current study was conducted to evaluate vitamin D status in children with cerebral palsy (CP) and its relations with associated risk factors. Patients and methods The present research included 50 children with CP of both sexes compared with a control group of 20 healthy children with matched age and sex. Serum 25-hydroxyvitamin D, serum calcium, and phosphorus were measured and compared in cases and controls. Aim The aim of the study was to detect the presence of interferon-inducible protein-16 (IFI16) as well as anti-IFI16 antibodies in the serum and synovial fluid of patients with rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and to evaluate the relation to pulmonary interstitial lung disease (ILD) patterns, disease activity, joints erosions, and serological markers.
