This study aimed to investigate the effect of chest physiotherapy on mechanically ventilated neonates with respiratory distress syndrome. Thirty neonates were concluded in the study where their age ranged from 1 to 28 days. They were divided into two equal groups. Group A was the control group that received medical treatment and mechanical ventilation. Group B or the study group has received the same treatment and the chest physiotherapy program. The physiotherapy session was conducted daily until the child was weaned off the ventilator. Aim The purpose of this study is focused on the efficacy of PTNS for the treatment of an overactive bladder. Aim To assess the complications of cochlear implantation (CI) during our 7 years of experience since the start of the CI program in our institute. Patients and methods The study included 602 CI procedures performed from April 2013 to January 2020. The follow-up period ranged between 12 and 73 months. Complications were classified into perioperative, major complications requiring reimplantation, major complications not requiring reimplantation, and minor complications. Introduction Chronic inflammation and immune inadequacy are present in chronic kidney disease (CKD) patients. T-helper type 17 (Th17) cells give rise to interleukin (IL)-17, IL-22, and IL-23, cause neutrophils to drive to sites of infection, and enhance moderate immune reactions to microbes outside the cells. They are responsible for autoimmune diseases. Regulatory T (Treg) cells secrete anti-inflammatory cytokines IL-10 and transforming growth factor beta and suppress immune reactions to preserve immune homeostasis. Aims To determine and analyze the reoperation rate during the first 1–2 years following surgical correction of strabismus using the conventional suture technique. Patients and methods This retrospective cohort study included patients of all ages who underwent surgical correction of strabismus with the conventional suture technique. Electronic medical records of the patients were reviewed. The extracted data included the patients' sociodemographics, the type of strabismus, history of the first strabismus surgery, presence of sequelae, and the need for reoperation.
