This paper examines the importance of vaccines in college populations, where high-density living environments create unique vulnerabilities to infectious disease outbreaks. Despite vaccine mandates at most institutions, research indicates that many college students possess incomplete understanding of vaccine mechanisms and importance. The paper addresses three interconnected aspects: the biological foundations of vaccine-induced immunity, the significance of vaccination in collegiate settings, and the current state of vaccine literacy among students. Historical outbreaks on campuses, including meningitis at Princeton and mumps across several institutions, highlight the consequences of undervaccination. INTRODUCTION: Pulmonopoly is an innovative active-learning medical board game addressses core pulmonary concepts in an engaging, competitive style. The strength of Pulmonopoly lies in its ability to combine ease of setup and play with comprehensive content coverage that comprises a significant proportion of national board examinations, offering a gamification experience that can be readily applied in different settings and modified for learner levels.

Background: Chest X-ray (CXR) interpretation is essential for Student Registered Nurse Anesthetists (SRNAs) in diagnosing and managing patient conditions. However, literature indicates deficiencies in SRNA education and proficiency, which could pose a risk to patient safety and outcomes. Moreover, the Council on Accreditation (COA) has introduced new clinical experience requirements, mandating SRNAs’ interpret a minimum of five CXRs during training.

Methods: Guided by Cognitive Load Theory, the project team developed an e-learning module that emphasizes the ABCDE systematic approach to CXR interpretation, covering normal anatomy, anatomical abnormalities, commonly placed devices, and differentiation between benign and pathological findings.

Background: The purpose of this paper is to do a cross-sectional analysis to evaluate the impact of the Coronavirus Disease 2019 pandemic on Dental Match Residency statistics from the year 2019–2023. Methods: The Dental Match Residency statistics available from the Dental Match website were analyzed from years 2019–2023 to evaluate the impact of pre-pandemic (2019–2020), pandemic (2021, 2022) and post-pandemic year trends (2023). Background Global health (GH) interest is rising among graduate medical education (GME) trainees, yet GH engagement is marred by the impact of colonization or racism, and there remains a lack of training to confront these challenges.

Objectives: Multiplex immunohistochemistry and immunofluorescence (mIHC/IF) are emerging technologies that can be used to help define complex immunophenotypes in tissue, quantify immune cell subsets, and assess the spatial arrangement of marker expression. mIHC/IF assays require concerted efforts to optimize and validate the multiplex staining protocols prior to their application on slides. The best practice guidelines for staining and validation of mIHC/IF assays across platforms were previously published by this task force. In order to mitigate the rate of overdose in tribal members who are part of the Lumbee Tribe of North Carolina. Indigenous populations have had the highest overdose rate of increase since 2019. In collaboration with CORE Pathways, a quality improvement project was implemented at the Harvest Moon Fall Powwow. This DNP project implemented nursing staff education on the importance of recognizing homeless individuals early during the initial triage process within the emergency department. Nursing staff were educated on community resources available for homeless individuals.
