การสำรวจและการศึกษาหนอนพยาธิในเป็ดและไก่, สุภรณ์ โพธิ์เงิน

The Thai Journal of Veterinary Medicine

อวัยวะระบบทางเดินอาหารและหลอดลม รวมทั้ง bursa of fabricius ของเป็ด 69 ตัว และไก่ 133 ตัว จากจังหวัดนครปฐม ฉะเชิงเทรา ชลบุรี สระบุรี และกรุงเทพมหานคร นำมาสำรวจหาหนอดพยาธิทุกชนิด โดยวิธีเปิดผ่า แล้วแยกอวัยวะระบบทางเดินอาหารออกเป็นส่วน ๆ ใส่ลงในขวดปลาสติค แล้วเติมน้ำลงไป 2/3 ส่วน ปิดฝาให้แน่นเขย่าแรง ๆ เพื่อให้หนอนพยาธิที่เกาะติดอยู่ตามผนังลําไส้หลุดออกจากอวัยวะดังกล่าว ตัวเต็มวัยของพยาธิใบไม้และพยาธิตืดทุกตัวที่เก็บได้ เมื่อทําความสะอาดแล้วจะนำไปแช่ในน้ำยา เอ เอฟ เอ จากนั้นจึงนำไปย้อมด้วยคาร์มัน ส่วนพยาธิตัวกลมนั้นไม่มีการย้อมสี ผลของการสำรวจและการศึกษาพบหนอนพยาธิตัวกลม Ascaridia galli 64.35%, Heterakis gallinae 37.12%, Heterakis putaustralis 8.41%, Acuaria spiralis 12.87%, Acuaria hamulosa 1.98%, Tetrameres fissispina 31.68%, Gongylonema ingluvicola 17.82%, Capillaria obsignata 12.37%, Capillaria annulata 5.94%, Oxyspirura mansoni 2.47%, พยาธิตืด Raillietina tetragona และ R. echinobothrida 33.66%, Amoebotaenia sphenoides 1.98%, Dirochis sp. 0.99%, พยาธิใบไม้ Echinostoma revolutum 6.93%, Prosthogonimus pellucidus 5.94%, และ Tracheophilus sisowi 0.99% ในการสำรวจครั้งนี้พบหนอนพยาธิหลายชนิดที่ยังไม่มีรายงานว่าพบในประเทศไทยเลย คือ Heterakis putaustralis, Capillaria annulata, Capillaria obsignata, Amcebotaenia sphenoides a …

Anthelmintic Activity Of Thiophanate Against Endoparasites In Chickens, Vichitr Sukhapesna

Anthelmintic activity of single doses of thiophanate at the rates of 70,100,200,300,400 and 500 milligrams per kilogram of body weight and continuous dose of thiophanate for 14 consecutive days at the rate of 10 milligrams per kilogram of body weight were determined by the critical test against endoparasites in 80 chickens. Thiophanate at a dose rate of 70 and 100 milligrams per kilogram was no effective in removing Ascaridia galli and Raillietina spp. Thiophanate at the dose rates of 200, 300, 400 and 500 milligrams per kilogram were 5.3, 75.1, 87.5 and 96.4 percent, respectively in removing A. galli. โรค Japanese encephalitis เป็นโรคซึ่งเกิดในคน โดยมีสุกรเป็น host และยุงเป็น vector สุกรที่ได้รับเชื้อ Japanese encephalitis virus จะไม่แสดง อาการป่วยให้เห็น นอกจากในพ่อพันธุ์และแม่พันธุ์ ซึ่งทําให้ผสมไม่ติด แท้ง ลูกสุกรตายขณะ คลอดหรือคลอดออกมาไม่แข็งแรง ศูนย์วินิจฉัยและชันสูตรโรคสัตว์ภาคเหนือ ได้ทําการเก็บ ตัวอย่างซีรั่มสุกรในจังหวัดภาคเหนือ โดยเก็บจากสุกรในช่วงอายุต่าง ๆ กัน น่ามาทําการ ตรวจหาภูมิคุ้มกันที่มีต่อโรค Japanese encephalitis โดยวิธี Hemagglutination inhibition test พบว่าสุกรมี positive antibody ต่อโรค Japanese encephalitis ในสุกรอายุต่ำกว่า 6 เดือน 79.16% และในสุกรอายุสูงกว่า 6 เดือนขึ้นไป 100%

The Thai Journal of Veterinary Medicine

Changes of peritubular transmembrane potential were recorded in the Triturus proximal tubular cell during envenomation with the Russell's viper. The action of the venom on transmembrane potential was found to be concentration dependent. The results were compared with actions of 2 - 4 dinitrophenol (DNP). on the depolarization of cell membrane and were discussed in the role of venom on the mechanism of transport of ions across the cell membrane.

รายงานผู้ป่วย : ผู้ป่วยไลเคน พลานัส ในช่องปากกับโรคเบาหวาน, อารีย์ เจนกิตติวงศ์

บทความนี้เป็นรายงานผู้ป่วย ไลเคน พลานัส ในช่องปากที่ได้รับการรักษาและควบคุม อาการของโรคไว้ดีแล้ว ต่อมาเมื่อระดับน้ำตาลในเลือดของผู้ป่วยสูงกว่าปกติ ปรากฏว่ารอย โรคในช่องปากกำเริบขึ้น ขยายขอบเขตไปยังบริเวณต่าง ๆ ในช่องปากและมีอาการรุนแรง การรักษาโดยให้สเตียรอยด์เฉพาะที่ร่วมกับการควบคุมโรคเบาหวาน ปรากฏว่า เมื่อสามารถ ลดระดับน้ำตาลในเลือดให้อยู่ในสภาวะปกติสามารถควบคุมอาการของโรคได้ดี จึงน่าที่จะมี ความสัมพันธ์ระหว่าง ไลเคน พลานัสในช่องปากกับโรคเบาหวาน ในแง่ที่โรคเบาหวานส่งเสริม ให้ อาการของไลเคน พลานัส รุนแรงขึ้น

สภาวะอนามัยช่องปากของเด็กอายุ 6-12 ปี จากครอบครัวที่มีระดับเศรษฐกิจต่ำในเขตกรุงเทพมหานคร, ทรงธรรม สุคนธาภิรมย์ ณ พัทลุง, ยุทธนา ปัญญางาม

ดัชนีอนามัยช่องปาก (oral hygiene index) ของเด็กนักเรียนระดับประถมศึกษา อายุ 6-12 ปี ที่สุ่มมาจากโรงเรียนในสังกัดกรุงเทพมหานคร 24 แห่ง จากทุกเขตการปกครอง จำนวน 1,508 คน มีค่าเฉลี่ยเป็น 2.1 ซึ่งจัดอยู่ในระดับพอใช้ ค่าดัชนีอนามัยช่องปากของ เด็กเหล่านี้ถูกกำหนดโดยอิทธิพลของดัชนีแผ่นคราบฟัน (debris index) ซึ่งมีค่าเฉลี่ย 1.9 มากกว่าจะเป็นผลจากอิทธิพลของดัชนีหินน้ำลาย (calculus index) ซึ่งมีค่าเฉลี่ย 0.2 ดังนั้น จึงเห็นได้ว่าการเลือกใช้วิธีแปรงฟันที่เหมาะสมและให้ประสิทธิภาพสูงในการกำจัดแผ่นคราบฟัน น่าจะทำให้สภาวะอนามัยช่องปากของเด็กเหล่านี้เปลี่ยนไปอยู่ในระดับดีได้ อย่างไรก็ดี พบว่าความแตกต่างระหว่างเพศจะมีอิทธิพลต่อดัชนีแผ่นคราบฟันและดัชนีอนามัยช่องปากอย่างมีนัย สำคัญทางสถิติ (p < 0.01 และ p < 0.1) โดยกลุ่มเด็กผู้หญิงจะมีค่าเฉลี่ยของดัชนีอนามัย ช่องปากและดัชนีแผ่นคราบฟันเท่ากับ 2.06 และ 1.84 ตามลำดับ ในขณะที่กลุ่มเด็กผู้ชาย จะมีค่าเฉลี่ยของดัชนีทั้งสองเท่ากับ 2.13 และ 1.95 ตามลำดับ ขณะเดียวกันก็พบว่าเด็กกลุ่ม อายุน้อยจะมีดัชนีแผ่นคราบฟันและดัชนีหินน้ำลายต่ำ และเพิ่มขึ้นเมื่ออายุมากขึ้น แต่ความ แตกต่างนี้ไม่มีนัยสำคัญทางสถิติ นอกจากนี้เมื่อทำการทดสอบทางสถิติโดยคำนวณหาค่า สัมประสิทธิ์สหสัมพันธ์ระหว่างดัชนีอนามัยช่องปากกับอัตราฟันผุ ถอน อุด พบว่าค่าที่ได้ต่ำ มาก อย่างไรก็ดีกลุ่มที่มีสภาวะอนามัยช่องปากระดับดีจะพบมีอัตราฟันผุ ถอน อุด ต่ำกว่า กลุ่มที่มีสภาวะอนามัยช่องปากระดับเลว ทั้งในฟันแท้และฟันน้ำนม

การตรวจหาเชื้อแคนดิดา ในช่องปากมีหลายวิธีซึ่งให้ผลแตกต่างกัน วิธีการตรวจที่ ให้ผลถูกต้องเชื่อถือได้ จะเป็นสิ่งที่ช่วยในด้านการให้การวินิจฉัยโรคที่ถูกต้องตลอดจนการ วางแผนการรักษาทั้งโรคในช่องปาก และโรคทางระบบของร่างกาย วิธีเพาะเลี้ยงแบบอิมพรินท์ เป็นวิธีการตรวจหาเชื้อแคนดิดาในช่องปากแบบใหม่ ที่ง่ายและสะดวก และให้ผลดี ถูกต้อง เชื่อถือได้มากที่สุดและมีความไวต่อการตรวจพบเชื้อสูงที่สุด เมื่อเปรียบเทียบกับวิธีการตรวจแบบอื่น ๆ เหมาะสำหรับใช้ตรวจหาเชื้อแคนดิดาทั้งในแง่ของการวินิจฉัยโรคในคนที่มีแผล ติดเชื้อในช่องปาก และในคนที่มีโรคทางระบบของร่างกายที่มีจำนวนเชื้อแคนดิดาในช่องปาก สูงรวมทั้งที่มีแนวโน้มของการเพิ่มสูงขึ้นของเชื้อแคนดิดาในช่องปาก ตลอดจนแม้ในคนที่มี สุขภาพในช่องปากปกติ ก็สามารถที่จะตรวจพบเชื้อแคนดิดา ได้โดยวิธีนี้
