Developmental coordination disorder (DCD) is a neurodevelopmental disorder characterized by motor coordination impairments and motor learning difficulties. Compared with typically developing children, children with DCD often exhibit deficits in postural control, strength, and cardiorespiratory fitness. This study used a systematic review method to review the relevant evidence of video-game interventions in children with DCD, aiming to explore the mechanisms of somatosensory interaction technology on balance ability of children with DCD, and provide evidence-based recommendations for parents, teachers, and rehabilitation therapists. Physical exercise, spanning from early childhood to adulthood, exerts positive influences on cognitive function. This study employed systematic review, network meta-analysis, and traditional meta-analysis to investigate the interventional effects of exercise on working memory in children with Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD). The ACTN3 R577X (rs1815739) genetic polymorphism is a significant research topic in sports genetics, with the XX genotype exhibiting a marked geographical gradient in different populations worldwide. The frequency of the XX genotype is notably higher in cold, high-latitude regions compared to tropical areas (e.g., Sweden 25%, Russia 14.2%, while Kenya 1%). Chiari networks are anatomical variants that result from incomplete resorption of embryologic tissues and are often discovered incidentally on echocardiography. We describe the case of a large Chiari network we discovered after independent review of the patient’s computed tomography scan showed an unexpected filling defect within the right atrium, prompting further investigation. We also conducted a review of the literature for this anatomic variant of unclear clinical significance.

This study critically examines the use of generative artificial intelligence (GenAI), specifically ChatGPT, in the development of doctoral dissertation proposals, highlighting both its potential and its ethical implications. Through a content analysis of a dissertation proposal created using ChatGPT, the study investigates how GenAI supports structural organization, academic writing, and citation formatting while exposing significant concerns related to fabricated references, methodological misalignment, and diminished scholarly rigor. Although GenAI accelerates the proposal-writing process, its outputs often lack the depth, coherence, and originality expected at the doctoral level, thereby threatening the integrity of academic research. Purpose
The purpose of this study was to determine whether a foundational interprofessional education workshop (IPE is Key) could enhance students’ attitudes and perceptions of interprofessional collaboration among nursing, health information management (HIM), and kinesiology students at the authors' university.

Methods
An explanatory sequential mixed methods design was used. Nursing and HIM students attended the workshop as part of course attendance requirements, while kinesiology students were invited and offered professional contact hours. Purpose: We aim to describe the clinical presentation, interprofessional management, and functional outcomes of a patient with thiamine deficiency. Problem: Thiamine deficiency can result in peripheral polyneuropathy and cognitive deficits that limit function and participation. Despite deficits that warrant interprofessional neurorehabilitation, previous reports focus narrowly on medical management. Case: A 36-year-old female was admitted to inpatient rehabilitation with a diagnosis of Guillain Barre. She underwent evaluation by the interprofessional team that revealed cognitive deficits inconsistent with Guillain Barre. Further medical workup identified a thiamine deficiency. Purpose: To explore the impact of wellness strategies incorporating movement, physical activity, and play on the mental health and interpersonal relationships of Caribbean mothers aged 25 and older.

Methods: A phenomenological study was conducted in 2021 to delve into the lived experiences of seven Caribbean mothers. Semi-structured interviews were employed to gather rich, qualitative data on their perceptions of wellness, motherhood, and the role of movement and physical activity in their lives.

Spinal muscular atrophy (SMA) is an inherited neuromuscular disorder characterized by the progressive loss of alpha motor neurons in the anterior horn of the spinal cord, leading to muscle weakness, atrophy, and impaired motor function.1 SMA remains an extensive and difficult-to-treat condition, with only three disease-modifying therapies currently available to patients. Objectives: This study aimed to determine the incidence, outcomes and risk factors of arrhythmia in children undergoing congenital heart disease (CHD) surgery in Oman. Methods: This prospective cohort study was conducted between 2023 and 2024 at the National Heart Centre, Muscat, Oman. Paediatric patients who underwent CHD surgery were included; those with preoperative arrhythmia or permanent pacemakers were excluded. Demographic, intraoperative and postoperative variables were collected. Univariate and multivariate logistic regression analyses were performed to identify independent predictors of postoperative arrhythmia.
