Background: Venous ulcers account for 60–70% of all leg ulcers. They are irregular ulcers with sloping edges mainly seen above the medial malleolus associated with oedema, lipodermatosclerosis and hemosiderosis. Conventional medicine mentions chronic venous ulcers as a surgical disease. It usually results in further co-morbidities and reduces the patient's quality of life. Scientific research is needed to understand their effects on calcium oxalate crystallisation, a key factor in urolithiasis. Introduction: Manic episode (ICD-F30.2) is typically characterised by distinct period of abnormally and persistently elevated, expansive, or irritable mood, along with abnormally and persistently increased goal-directed activity or energy, lasting at least 1 week and causing significant disruption in occupational and social functioning. The lifetime risk of experiencing manic episodes is approximately 0.8–1%. These episodes typically recur in three to four-month cycles. Staphylococcus aureus is a major Gram-positive pathogen that is increasingly resistant to antibiotics, significantly contributing to antimicrobial resistance (AMR)-related deaths. Therefore, this study aimed to examine the antibacterial activity of calcined chicken eggshell powder (CCEP), a waste-derived material rich in calcium compounds. CCEP was prepared by calcining eggshell powder at 900 °C for 3 hours. Its antibacterial potential was evaluated using in vitro assays, including agar disc diffusion and broth microdilution, as well as in silico molecular docking against penicillin-binding protein 4 (PBP4, PDB ID: 3HUM). Objective: This study aimed to investigate and analyse the complications and outcomes of orbital fracture repair in Oman. Methods: This multicentre retrospective study included all patients with orbital floor and/or medial wall fractures who underwent orbital reconstruction at four tertiary hospitals in Oman between January 2014 and December 2021. The data collected included demographics, fracture aetiology, surgical approach, reconstruction material, complications and repair outcomes. Method development was guided by a design of experiments (DoE) approach using the Box-Behnken design (BBD) to ensure optimal analytical performance.

Grounded in self-determination theory (SDT), the purpose of this study was two-fold: 1) to evaluate the psychometric properties of SDT-related measures in a sample of coach learners, and 2) to examine the relationships between need satisfaction and frustration, coach motivation, and engagement in training sessions.. A total of 796 coaches participated in the study, completing surveys measuring basic psychological need satisfaction and frustration, coaching motivation, and engagement. Objectives: This in-vitro study aimed to evaluate the impact of different CAD/CAM materials (IPS e.max® CAD and Cerasmart®) and thicknesses (0.7 mm, 1 mm, and 1.5 mm) on the fracture resistance of indirect overlay restorations.

Methods: Sixty-three human third molars were divided into 7 groups (n=9) based on material and thickness, including a control group of 9 sound teeth. Only 54 specimens were prepared using a thin-section cutting machine, scanned, and their scans were used to fabricate overlays from different materials and thicknesses.
