Antibiotic resistance is a critical global challenge that requires the discovery of alternative therapeutic agents. Plants -derived compounds, such as those found in Ananas comosus (pineapple)peel, offer promising antibacterial potential. This study aimed to evaluate the antibacterial activity of pineapple peel extract using both in vitro and in silico approaches. Ethanolic extracts of pineapple peel were fractionated using silica gel chromatography, and the resulting fractions were analyzed by GC-MS. Antibacterial activity was tested against Gram-positive and Gram-negative pathogens using the agar well diffusion method, and the inhibition zones were recorded. The growth rate of chickens can be improved by using probiotics as alternatives to antibiotics. Bacillus spp. as probiotics are particularly beneficial due to ability to form spores, which remain stable as commercial products over extended periods. This study aimed to isolate and select Bacillus spp. from Jasinga soil as probiotic candidates for chickens. A total of 15 isolates obtained of these, 12 were identified as Bacillus spp based on microscopic observations and screening test including ascertaining hemolysis, protease, amylase, and cellulase activities. Increasing resistance to existing antibiotics has led to a need for new alternative sources. Among the possibilities that need to be explored is the endophytic actinobacteria associated with Ziziphus mauritiana. The present study aimed to evaluate the antibacterial activity of endophytic actinobacteria isolated from Z. mauritiana against five multidrug-resistant bacterial strains. Thirty actinobacteria isolates were obtained from the roots, stem, and leaves of the plant using the serial dilution technique. This study investigated the antimicrobial activity, cellulolytic, and amylolytic abilities of eight thermophilic Actinomy-cetes isolated from the heated soil around the Cisolok geyser, West Java, Indonesia. Cellulolytic and amylolytic abili-ties were screened for on media by adding 1% (w/v) soluble starch and carboxymethylcellulose (CMC), respectively. Antimicrobial activity was screened for using the agar-plug diffusion method by cultivating strains on various growth media. Growth at various temperatures showed that six strains could grow up to 50 °C. Seven out of eight strains showed amylolytic ability at 40 °C and 45 °C, and only four strains did so at 50 °C. This investigation aims to synthesize, analyze the molecularity, and test the ability of bacterial inhibition capability of silver nanoparticles that have been synthesized by simply mixing silver nitrate and aqueous extracts of marine natural products with and without the addition of amylum as a stabilizing agent. This research, with and without the addition of amylum as a stabilizing agent, obtained 39.0 and 55.2 mg of solids of round-shaped morphology silver nanoparticles with diameters of 87.9 and 103.0 nm., respectively. Fusarium proliferatum decreases the productivity of shallot (Allium cepa L.). Endophytic bacteria are potential biocontrol agents in controlling the growth of F. proliferatum. This study aimed to select and characterize endophytic bacteria producing bioactive compounds that inhibit the growth of F. proliferatum. The endophytic bacteria used were isolated from the roots, stems, leaves, and soil of shallot plants from healthy and diseased shallot farming fields. The endophytic bacteria were selected using the dual culture method and extracted using ethyl acetate solvent. Staphylococcus saprophyticus ICBB 9554 and Citrobacter freundii ICBB 9763 are exoelectrogen bacteria applied as microbial fuel cells (MFC). We selected enrichment media for both these exoelectrogen bacteria, characterized their synergistic traits, and evaluated the growth conditions under different ecological factors. In this study, different enrichment media, such as those containing sugar, molasses, and palm sugar (2, 4, and 6% w/v) were tested for S. saprophyticus ICBB 9554. Asymptomatic bacteriuria (ASB) is the presence of bacteria in apparently healthy individuals. Although, the prevalence varies widely with age, gender, and the presence or absence of genitourinary abnormalities, the detection of pathogenic bacteria in urine constitutes firm evidence of infection. Olea ferruginea has been used to treat skin ailments, as well as kidney and ocular problems for a long time. The current study was designed with the aim of investigating and scientifically validating its widespread use. Chloroform, n-hexane, and ethyl acetate were used to assess the antibacterial, hemagglutination, and insecticidal properties of O. ferruginea roots. Escherichia coli, Micrococcus luteus, Klebsiella pneumoniae, and Pseudomonas aeruginosa were among the bacterial strains selected for assessing antibacterial activity.
