The testes is a pair of oval organs posterior to the lungs and anterior to the kidneys. Each testes is attached by a mesentery to the anterior end of the kidney. An adrenal gland is located at the anterior portion of each testes. The vasa deferentia are slender convoluted tubules. Each arises from the median edge of the testes passes cauded along the ventral surface of the kidney, paralleling the ureter and enlarging slightly at the distal end to form a small seminal vesicle, which enters the urogenital region of the cloaca by a papilla.
