It Pays To Test Your Irrigation Pumping Plant, George C. Morin, Deon D. Axthelm, Laverne E. Stetson, Paul Fischbach, Dean Eisenhauer, James R. Gilley, Wayne F. Kroutil, Walter L. Trimmer Jan 1980

It Pays To Test Your Irrigation Pumping Plant, George C. Morin, Deon D. Axthelm, Laverne E. Stetson, Paul Fischbach, Dean Eisenhauer, James R. Gilley, Wayne F. Kroutil, Walter L. Trimmer

University of Nebraska-Lincoln Extension: Historical Materials

This service can be performed by consulting engineers, by many well drilling companies, and some Natural Resources Districts and Public Power Districts. See your County Extension Agent for more information concerning these services.

A pumping plant test should be performed regardless of the age of your system. Test all new systems so that you can be assured that …

A Guide To Integrated Pest Management At Feedlots And Dairies, J. B. Campbell, C. D. Mcneal Jan 1980

A Guide To Integrated Pest Management At Feedlots And Dairies, J. B. Campbell, C. D. Mcneal

University of Nebraska-Lincoln Extension: Historical Materials

Integrated Pest Management (IPM) is rather new terminology used to describe the old art of keeping pest infestations below economic levels by utilizing a combination of control methodologies. This guide has been prepared to assist feedlot and dairy operators and consultants in an integrated approach to the management of pests. It is our purpose to outline a combination of sanitation, chemical methods and cultural control of stable flies, house flies and--to a much lesser extent--rats and starlings. The guide may also be useful to entomology and animal science students and county agents.

Stable fly, Stomoxys calcitrans (L.)

House Fly, Musca …
