A Study On Electrochemical Oxidation Of Reduced Nicotinamide Coenzyme Nadh In Organic Media, Fangzu Yang, Huihuang Wu, Shukai Xu, Shaomin Zhou
Journal of Electrochemistry
The behaviour of electrochemical oxidation of the reduced nicotinamide coenzyme NADH on glassy carbon was studied and some kinetic parameters were measured by means of voltammometry in the N-dimethylformamide (DMF) and 1,4-dioxane media respectively. The eletrochemical oxidation of NADH shows completely irriversable both in the two solvents, and the diagnostic experiments support that the process involves a fast chemical step. The oxidation rate and the diffusion coefficient of NADH in DMP are smaller than those in 1,4-dioxane, but the response current is more stable in DMF. The experimental results are discussed by solvent effects.

Study On The Ionic Conductivity Of Comb Polymer Electrolytes, Liming Ding
Journal of Electrochemistry
A comb polymer (CP350) with oligo-oxyethylene side chains was prepared from methyl vinyl ether/maleic anhydride copolymer. The ionic conductivity of CP350/LiAsF6 and CP350/LiAsF6 complexes was studied as a function of temperature and [Li]/[EO] ratios. A equivalent circuit was given to interpret complex impedance spectra. At 25 ℃, the ionic conductivity maxima of the two systems are 1.38×10-4, 8.32×10-5 S/cm respectively. The appearance of the conductivity maxima has been interpreted as being due to the effect of microviscosity on ion transport. lonic conduction displays non-Arrhenius behaviour. The temperature dependence of ionic conductivity was attributed mainly to the …

A Study Of The Electroplated Fe-Cr-Ni Alloy Microstructure, Donglin Li, Jianping Liu, Fangzhou Guo, Jianrong Hua
Journal of Electrochemistry
The microstructure of the electroplated Fe-Cr-Ni alloys from the mixed carboxylic acid solution containing Cr(Ⅲ) and additives were determined with XRD and SEM. Experimental results showed that, under the experimental condition, the phase component, structure of Cu base electroplated Fe-Cr-Ni alloys had a critical thickness, which was 11 μm and a critical Ni content, which was 32%. Organic additives, formic acid or polyethylene Glycol, mainly affected the surface, cross section morphology of the electroplated Fe-Cr-Ni alloys. Adding Mo to the electroplated Fe-Cr-Ni alloys led to remarkable corrosion resistance in concentrated HCl.

Journal of Electrochemistry
In this paper, copper electrodepostion on HOPG had been in situ studied by using a homebuilt electrochemical scanning tunneling microscopy (ECSTM). Three dimensional nucleation and subsequent growth of copper crystals were found as the initial stage of copper deposition on HOPG. In the case of lower overpotential or lower concentration of Cu2+ , the bulk deposited copper layer tended to form smooth terraces, and grow at the edge of steps. The terraces were stable to some extent, which made it possible to be observed with atomic resolution. At a higher overpotential, the crystal size of copper were somehow smaller. …

Journal of Electrochemistry
In this work a combination method of A.C. Impedance and chronoamperometry was used to determine the lithium ion transport number of LiClO4·(PEO)20·(PC)12·(EC)12 polymer electrolyte. It is known that lithium is thermodynamically unstable in non-aqueous or polymer electrolytes, leading to the formtion of a film on lithium surface, called as solid electrolyte interphase (SEI). The presence of SEI layer will greatly influence the experimental result of lithium ion transport number. The new method avoid the effect of SEI layer, and can give correct transport number of lithium ion in the electrolyte of DCIO4 …

The Composition Structure And Corrosion Resistance Of Al-Mn Alloy Plating, Jiaju Guo, Naiming Guo
Journal of Electrochemistry
The Al-Mn alloy plating was electrodeposition from low temperature molten salts (below 200℃), its chemical composition control, corrosion resistance as well as the relationshipbetween chemical composition and structure were studied. The results indicate that the main effect onchemical composition of Al-Mn alloy plating is Mn ion concentration in molten salts. The Mn contentin the range of 25~40(wt)%, Al-Mn alloy plating has amorphous structure. In 0.5 mol/L H2SO4 and NaCl solution ,corrosion resistance of the alloy plating is much better. When the alloy has amorphous structure, corrosion resistance of plating has been remarkably increased.
