Application Of Neural Networks For Intelligent Processing Of Sensor Signals In The Control Of Technological Process Parameters, N.R. Yusupbekov, Yu.Sh. Avazov, G.Kh. Rashidov

Chemical Technology, Control and Management

This scientific article investigates the problem of analyzing technological process parameters in the fields of chemistry, energy, and metallurgy based on sensor data and applying intelligent signal processing methods. The main objective is to evaluate the effectiveness of artificial intelligence and deep learning models for intelligent analysis, forecasting, and anomaly detection of data obtained from sensors. Time-series data collected from industrial sensors were analyzed using LSTM (Long Short-Term Memory) and Autoencoder neural networks, as well as the Kalman filter. At the first stage of the study, sensor signals were denoised and their true state was estimated using the Kalman filter. …

Joint Estimation Of The State And Parameters Of Dynamic Control Objects Based On The Maine Estimator, Yulduz Abdurakhmanova Feb 2025

Joint Estimation Of The State And Parameters Of Dynamic Control Objects Based On The Maine Estimator, Yulduz Abdurakhmanova

Chemical Technology, Control and Management

The issues of constructing an adaptive joint estimation of the state and parameters of dynamic control objects using the Maine estimator are considered. There are various variants of the extended filter, and a variant based on iterations between parameter and state estimates was used in the work. In this version of the extended Kalman filter, the problem of joint parameter and state estimation is solved in such a way that parameter estimation is performed before state estimation. Then, the parameter values are used to assess the state. In this case, further iterations between the state vector estimation and the parameter …

State Estimation And Economic Analysis For Electrochemical Sensor-Based Corrosion Monitoring, Chandra Sekhar Somayajula Jan 2024

State Estimation And Economic Analysis For Electrochemical Sensor-Based Corrosion Monitoring, Chandra Sekhar Somayajula

Graduate Theses, Dissertations, and Problem Reports (ETD)

Coal is currently the third-largest source of electricity production in the U.S. However, renewables are projected to be the primary source of electricity production in the future. Though coal-fired power plants (CFPPs) are rapidly retiring in the U.S., many CFPPs worldwide are expected to stay operational for a while due to factors like easy and cheap access to comparatively inexpensive coal. Therefore, non-renewable sources like coal are still expected to be prevalent and be used to ensure the stability of the electric grid in the foreseeable future. The existing coal-fired power plants generally designed to operate at base-loaded conditions are …

Dynamic Modelling And Control Of Grid-Level Energy Storage Systems, Sai Pushpitha Vudata Jan 2021

Dynamic Modelling And Control Of Grid-Level Energy Storage Systems, Sai Pushpitha Vudata

Graduate Theses, Dissertations, and Problem Reports (ETD)

The focus of this work is on two energy storage technologies, namely pumped storage hydroelectricity (PHS) and secondary batteries. Under secondary battery technologies, two potential technologies for grid-scale storage, namely high-temperature sodium-sulfur (NaS) battery and vanadium redox flow battery (VRFB), are investigated. PHS is a largescale (>100 MW) technology that stores and generates energy by transporting water between two reservoirs at different elevations. The goal is to develop a detailed dynamic model of PHS and then design the controllers to follow the desired load trajectory accurately with high efficiency. The NaS battery and VRFB are advanced secondary batteries which …

Identification Of Transition Matrix Of Controlled Objects Under Parametric Uncertainty Condition, Uktam Farkhodovich Mamirov Aug 2020

Identification Of Transition Matrix Of Controlled Objects Under Parametric Uncertainty Condition, Uktam Farkhodovich Mamirov

Chemical Technology, Control and Management

The questions of formation and construction of algorithms for identification of elements of the transition matrix of controlled objects in conditions of parametric uncertainty are considered. To identify elements of the transition matrix, we suggest using a custom model based on the type of Kalman filtration equations. Algorithms for stable calculation of a pseudo-inverse matrix using matrix decomposition are analyzed. Regular algorithms for solving argumentative problems of minimization of the identification quality criterion are given. These algorithms allow us to regularize the problem of adaptive identification of the transition matrix of an object based on regular methods for minimizing functionals …

Structural – Parametric Analysis And Synthesis Of Glass Furnace Condition Observer, Utkir Uktam O‘G‘Li Kholmanov Aug 2020

Structural – Parametric Analysis And Synthesis Of Glass Furnace Condition Observer, Utkir Uktam O‘G‘Li Kholmanov

Chemical Technology, Control and Management

A modified Kalman filter of the glass cooking process is synthesized, taking into account perturbations in the form of a sequence of colored noises. The possibility of expanding this filter by noise filters to improve functioning in the presence of low-frequency disturbances is studied and a corresponding estimation scheme with additional noise filters is proposed. The results of the simulation allow us to assume that low-frequency disturbances in the glass furnace act at the input and affect the state of the control object.
