Energy From Biomass: Combustion And Gasification, G John
Energy From Biomass: Combustion And Gasification, G John
Tanzania Journal of Engineering and Technology (TJET)
Some fundamental facts of the combustion Of BIOMAS are outlined and di scussed . It is suggested that these provide guidelines for rhe development Of successful practical combustors. Furthemore, a realisation Of energy conversion from the same in gasfier is presented.
Density Measurement For Corrosive Solutions At Elevated Temperatures, Kimweri, H
Density Measurement For Corrosive Solutions At Elevated Temperatures, Kimweri, H
Tanzania Journal of Engineering and Technology (TJET)
In this work, apparatus for measuring densities of corrosive solutions at high temperatures was developed and used. Densities of dilute aqueous sulphuric acid solutions, containing different amounts of zinc and iron salts were measured at temperatures up to 185°C. In view of the good agreement between consecutive measurements for each solution and the density of water obtained by using this apparatus with that given in literature, for all experiments, the apparatus is recommended to be used for measuring densities of corrosive solutions at high temperatures.
