Liquefaction is one of the most dramatic defects of granular soil. This phenomenon is mostly observed when loose sand is subjected to a dynamic load or earthquake. In this study, the liquefaction that affected the loose soil evaluated, and some recommendations are introduced. (2-D) Numerical analysis using Plaxis (8.2) was conducted to simulate the behavior of the loose soil under dynamic loads. The studied model was carried out on multi-layers soil supported by stone columns subjected to dynamic loads. This study uses the Chemkin software program to evaluate the effect of different quantities of oxyhydrogen gas [HHO] added to 40% biodiesel and diesel mix [B40], including B40, B40+5HHO, B40+10HHO, and B40+15HHO, on the HCCI combustion process's efficiency. The information collected includes cylinder pressure, cylinder temperature, accumulated gas phase heat release, heat loss rate, UHC, and mole fractions of O2, CO, CO2, diesel [NC7H16], biodiesel [C5H10O2], and oxyhydrogen [H2O]. The finding is that, when compared to a blend of biodiesel and diesel, using oxyhydrogen in the biodiesel/diesel mix boosts the properties of the HCCI engine.

This study aimed to evaluate the performance of an electrocoagulation reactor (EC) and investigate its efficiency in heavy-polluted industrial wastewater treatment. The electrocoagulation (EC) reactor has been experimentally evaluated using aluminium (Al) electrodes and connected to a direct current power at various applied voltage levels at room temperature in a relatively limited reaction time.

The treatment performance efficiency of the selected dominant EC operating parameter groups: pH, reaction time, inter-electrode distance, and applied voltage was investigated. Electrospun drug-eluting fibers have demonstrated potentials in topical drug delivery applications, where drug releases can be modulated by polymer fiber compositions. In this study, blend fibers of polycaprolactone (PCL) and polyethylene oxide (PEO) at various compositions were electrospun from 10 wt% of polymer solutions to encapsulate a model drug of ibuprofen (IBP). The results showed that the average polymer solution viscosities determined the electrospinning parameters and the resulting average fiber diameters. Increasing PEO contents in the blend PCL/PEO fibers decreased the average elastic moduli, the average tensile strength, and the average fracture strains, where IBP exhibited a plasticizing effect in …

A series of reactive molecular dynamics simulations is used to study the internal structure of incipient soot particles obtained from acetylene pyrolysis. The simulations were performed using the ReaxFF potential at four different temperatures. The resulting soot particles are cataloged and analyzed to obtain statistics of their mass, volume, density, C/H ratio, number of cyclic structures, and other features. A total of 3324 incipient soot particles were analyzed in this study. This study explores the significant potential of machine learningguided design in optimizing nanolubricants, focusing on their application in reducing friction and wear in mechanical systems. Utilizing neural networks and genetic algorithms, the research demonstrates how advanced computational techniques can accurately predict and enhance the tribological properties of nanolubricants. The findings reveal that nanolubricants, particularly those containing graphene and carbon nanotubes, exhibit marked improvements in reducing friction coefficients and wear rates compared to traditional mineral oil-based lubricants. The purpose of the study is to create a technology for the rational production of the substance POP from the extract of buds and unripe fruits of the plant Capparis spinosa L. A low-toxic (LD50 7600 - 10800 mg/kg) substance extracted from the buds and unripe fruits of Capparis spinosa, mainly containing water-soluble polysaccharides, proteins and flavonoids (PBP) has been found to have analgesic, antioxidant, and anti-inflammatory effects. The purpose of this study is to obtain an extract of Astragalus turkestanus with a high content of biologically active substances and the lowest content of associated substances. The factors influencing the process of extracting biologically active substances from the aerial parts of Astragalus turkestanus have been studied. The purpose of this work is determination of crystal structure and Hirschfeld surface void analysis for many intermolecular interactions in the crystal structure of 1,3-dihydro-2H-benzimidazole-2-iminium-2-hydroxy-5-sulfobenzoate.. For the first time, a new organic salt containing organic benzimidazolium cations and sulfosalicylic anions was synthesized and structurally characterized. Hirshfeld surface analysis confirm that in the crystal shape most remarkable contacts are H∙∙∙O (38%) and H∙∙∙H (29.7%) There are some π–π stacking interactions in the crystal shape.

The purpose of the study is extraction of the indene from pyrolysis oil obtained from the pyrolysis of hydrocarbons at the Ustyurt gas processing plant. Indene is isolated by rectification from the composition of pyrolysis oil formed as a by-product of the process of hydrocarbons pyrolysis at the Ustyurt gas processing plant. Polymethyleneindenesulfocationite was synthesized on the basis of isolated indene, and its structure and physicochemical properties were determined. Chromatomass spectrum of pyrolysis oil was obtained and analyzed.
