This research investigates the capacity of incorporating indigenous knowledge into the traditional craft of Batik Pekalongan to promote character education and facilitate learning. Batik Pekalongan, an Indonesian textile, is a cultural legacy extending beyond its conventional fabric use. UNESCO has officially designated it as an intangible cultural treasure. The study technique used is a qualitative literature review. The results indicate that including Batik Pekalongan in the curriculum may successfully cultivate robust character attributes in children, including honesty, collaboration, and responsibility. This study aims to identify the relationship between social media use and civic engagement among digital natives in Indonesia using the Grounded Theory method. The study involved 15 digital natives aged 18-24 who actively use social media, selected through a purposive sampling technique. The analysis in this study used NVivo version 12 Plus for MacBook. The study results show that social media use plays a vital role in the civic engagement of digital natives in Indonesia. Despite challenges like corruption, collusion, and nepotism, the Yogyakarta City Government is working to institutionalize an employee code of ethics through the SATRIYA Culture and BerAKHLAK core values. This research aims to compare the results of two learning approaches, namely the anti-radicalism value project model and the conventional model, in enhancing the commitment of young citizens. Through data analysis from two groups of classes, the experimental and control groups, we evaluated the outcomes of both learning models on the improvement of young citizens' commitment, including their knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors towards the values and principles of Indonesia's constitutional democracy. Although the internet provides benefits, teachers' role as central figures in the learning process is imperative. Due to misuse and abuse of technology, promoting digital citizenship for student teachers was challenging. Using nine elements of digital citizenship by Mike Ribble, this study explores the knowledge and comprehension of digital citizenship (DC) among twenty student teachers involved in semi-structured interviews, observation, and documentation.
