Plagiarism is one of academic dishonesty, which has become a central issue in the academic sector. The aims of this study were to investigate students understanding through plagiarism and also to examine the reason why they committed plagiarism. This study used a quantitative approach. To obtain the data, questionnaire and interview were used. The finding showed that their understanding of plagiarism bounded in citing without giving sources. Further, the result showed that lack of knowledge, lack of time and unintentionally committed plagiarism were the top three reasons why the graduate students committed plagiarism.

This study addresses senior high school students’ reading comprehension on expository texts and its relation with the group sizes assigned to the students. It involves 133 eleventh grade students of SMAN Model Terpadu Bojonegoro. Quantitative data were analyzed descriptively. The findings show that CSR affect the students’ reading comprehension significantly. Yet, it fails to reveal the effect of group sizes arrangement on the strategies applied towards the students reading comprehension. Consequently, the use of CSR in reading class can not be related to the group sizes assigned to the students.

This research aims to produce interactive multimedia based on local culture that is feasible in terms of validity, practicality, attractiveness, and effectivity. The development model used was the Lee & Owens model, consists of five steps: analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation. The validator stated that interactive multimedia was very valid with a score of 92.9%. Field test results showed that practicality of the product reached 94.5%, and level of attractiveness reached 95.9%. The acronym R.I.O.T., record review, interview, observation, and test, is a well-known tool for conceptualizing a comprehensive assessment. With COVID-19 and the need to provide school psychological services virtually, it is important to reconsider R.I.O.T. in light of the limitations of virtual assessment. We describe the limitations of virtual assessment and argue that in spite of these barriers, the first three elements of R.I.O.T., record review, interviews, and observations, when used systematically, can provide useful comprehensive assessment data. Specific recommendations are provided for implementing assessment virtually.

Working memory training programs have attracted great interest, with claims that the training programs can have diverse beneficial effects. The purpose of this article was to examine near- and far-transfer effects following working-memory training and identify the significant moderators related to these effects. Twenty- three research articles were included in the meta-analysis. The results showed that near-transfer effects of verbal and visual-spatial working memory skills had effect sizes ranging from 3.22 to 2.99 respectively. Far-transfer effects of reading comprehension and academic achievement had effect sizes ranging from 3.17 to 2.43 respectively.
