The effects of training on teachers’ self-regulated learning (SRL), self-efficacy for teaching, and perceived instructional effectiveness in computer-supported collaborative learning (CSCL) environments were investigated. Participants were 80 K-12 teachers who had recently transitioned to teaching in a CSCL environment when schools closed in response to the COVID- 19 pandemic. The researcher also explored how teachers use SRL skills in their learning and instruction. Training consisted of weekly collaborative meetings addressing pedagogy and technology connections. This study investigated perceived influence of study abroad experiences on intercultural competence in school psychologists and school psychologists-in-training. This exploratory descriptive qualitative analysis involved semi-structured interviews with a purposively sampled group (n = 20) of school psychologists (n = 10) and school psychology graduate students (n = 10) who studied abroad during their undergraduate or graduate programs. Participants responded to questions about their study abroad experience, how it affected them, what they learned about other cultures, and how it affected their career or career preparation. This study aims to test the effectiveness of the use of local wisdom in the cublak-cublak suweng game to the junior high school student self-control training. The research subjects were 8 junior high school students in Malang City using one group pretest-posttest design. Measurements used the Self-Control Scale and were analyzed by the Wilcoxon test and paired t-test. This study primarily wanted to explore students’ views and how they employ translation-related strategies to learn English. Five students from the accounting department, Universitas Negeri Malang participate in this qualitative case study. The findings showed that students consider translation has a positive contribution to their English learning. They also mentioned learning activities by using translation that can be categorized into several learning strategies. It is expected that the results of the study can raise awareness and exercise cautious use of translation as an effective learning strategy in English for the benefits of the students.

The purpose of this study is to analyze students' critical thinking especially on static fluid material through STEM PjBL accompanied by authentic assessment. The research design used mixed methods type embedded experimental design and the sample used in the study amounted to 32 students. Through the results of the analysis note that the learning process used is moderately influential on increasing students' critical thinking skills. In general, students experience an increase in all indicators of critical thinking.

Plagiarism is one of academic dishonesty, which has become a central issue in the academic sector. The aims of this study were to investigate students understanding through plagiarism and also to examine the reason why they committed plagiarism. This study used a quantitative approach. To obtain the data, questionnaire and interview were used. The finding showed that their understanding of plagiarism bounded in citing without giving sources. Further, the result showed that lack of knowledge, lack of time and unintentionally committed plagiarism were the top three reasons why the graduate students committed plagiarism.

Improving Primary Teacher Education Students’ Writing Performance Using Flipped Classroom, Nurul Masyithah Rery, Niamika El Khoiri

This study aimed to improve students’ writing performance in ESP subject by implementing Flipped Classroom and Collaborative activities. Classroom action research was applied as the method in this study was. According to the data obtained, 88,89% of the students experienced improvement at least 10 points compared to their initial writing product. Students active participation also improved which was shown by the average score that was above 3,0 points obtained from peer assessment rubric. Therefore, the combination of these two strategies was proven successful in improving students’ writing performance in ESP subject.

This study addresses senior high school students’ reading comprehension on expository texts and its relation with the group sizes assigned to the students. It involves 133 eleventh grade students of SMAN Model Terpadu Bojonegoro. Quantitative data were analyzed descriptively. The findings show that CSR affect the students’ reading comprehension significantly. Yet, it fails to reveal the effect of group sizes arrangement on the strategies applied towards the students reading comprehension. Consequently, the use of CSR in reading class can not be related to the group sizes assigned to the students.
