In 1993, the Ontario Ministry of Education and Training (MET) created a draft document on the topic of antiracism and ethnocultural equity in school boards. This document contained guidelines for anti-oppression policy and practice within schools. Many stakeholders within the education system and society debate whether or not an education for equity is being provided in schools. I chose to respond to this debate by listening to the voices of an unheard stakeholder group: students. Two methods of data collection, questionnaires and focus groups, were utilized in my study. The purpose of this study is to identify the anxiety level and the sources of anxiety among secondary school students in Kuala Lumpur. The selected school for the study was Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Batu 5. Underachievement among the gifted has been a focus of research for the past 43 years. This case study looks at factors relating to academic underachievement in four intellectually gifted Malaysian college students, whose ages range from 18 to 19. Five factors were examined to see if they contribute to academic underachievement. They are family and parental factors, peer and social factors, school related factors, self concept and locus of control. The historical legislation mandating multidisciplinary teams (MDTs) in schools is well known, yet relatively little attention has been directed toward either evaluating systematic processes that would lead to the desired outcome of better services to all students or educating team members in problem solving content and process. The purpose of the study was to examine the factors that influence problem solving outcomes and other aspects of service delivery in MDT settings, including the changing role of school psychologists.

Adjustment in this research divided into two category, that is Personal Adjustment and Social Adjustment. Personal Adjustment has six sub-scales, namely Self Reliance, Sense Of Personal Worth, Sense Of Personal Freedom, Sense of Belonging, and Withdrawing Tendencies. This study attempts to identify the interpretation of letters used in algebraic expressions and equations by a sample of 139 Form Four students in an urban secondary school. It also determines the distribution of their levels of understanding of algebraic notation and their cognitive levels. It further investigates the relationship between the levels of understanding of algebraic notation and cognitive levels. The aims of this research are, firstly, to detect the teachers' working motivation level: secondly, to detect the teachers' level of satisfaction towards motivator and hygiene/actors; thirdly, to detect the significant correlation between the satisfactory level towards motivator and hygiene factors, and the working motivation level; and fourthly lo detect the extend in which individual characteristics cause differences in working motivation factor. This set of pre-test and post-test experimental design was aimed to examine the effect of basic social training skills on the behaviour, academic and self-concept among students. This would include live dimensional aspects such as family-self, personal-self: physical-sell: social-self and ethical moral-self. The research was carried out at one of the Government Secondary School in Kuala Lumpur. Ten form tree students were chosen as subjects on their low achievement in the middle of the Year Examination.
