This research aims to produces an interactive multimedia valid, practical and effective on the subjects application software in STMIK Indonesia Padang. The method used in this research is the Research and Development (R & D) by using a model of the development of Instructional Development Institute (IDI). The results of this study indicate that the validity of multimedia contents and design categorized by valid (79,4%). While the practicalities of the test, students provide practical category quite practical (78,65%). The objective of this study is to ascertain the effectiveness of ctitical thingking skills (KBK) dan Higher Order Thingking Skills (HOTS) students taught using GDL (Guided Discovery Learning) dan Problem Solving on acid base material. The samples of the study were two classes of eleventh grade at SMAN 5 Banjarmasin. Two tests, Watson-Glases critical thingking test and HOTS test developed by the reasercher were empolyed on those classes as the instruments to obtain the data needed. The purpose of this study was to describe students’ concept mastery on Archimedes’ principle. The method of this study was descriptive method. The instrument of concept mastery test of this study was consisted of 4 essay questions with reliability Cronbach’s alpha 0.67. This study was the study case in one of class in SMAN 8 Muaro Jambi. This study aimed to describe the ability of multilateral FD students to solve the problem of Pythagoras and its scaffolding. The data collection begins with GEFT and test 1. The subject's examination process is analyzed based on the SOLO taxonomy to see its level of ability. The results showed that the ability of multistructural level FD subjects could use some of the information provided for problem solving, but the answer given was not accurate. Scaffolding efforts to increase the level of FD students' ability from multistructural level to relational level consist of reviewing, restructuring, and developing contextual thinking.

The research instrument was questionnaire with five alternative answers, such: very often; often; rare; sometime; and never. The aim of this study is to determine the effectiveness of group counseling with cognitive behavior therapy approach using passive music therapy technique to reduce the academic anxiety of students who is writing thesis. The research used quasi-experimental design (pretest, posttest, and follow-up). Group counseling was conducted for five meetings, and follow-up was performed two weeks after the treatment. This research and development aims to produce a cybercounseling reality website and a reality cybercounseling guidebook to improve self-disclosure for Vocational High School students which are grateful theoretically and practically. The research and development study steps are: preliminary study, product development, and product test. Product’s guidelines are tested using one group pretest-posttest design. Product test results show that cybercounseling reality website is gratefully theoretically and practically and also effectively to improve Vocational High School students’ self-disclosure.

This study is intended to identify the correlation between perception on tutoring services and Junior High School students’ autonomy. This study was a correlational and expose facto study. The population of this study is the entire students of Sekolah Menengah Pertama Negeri 10 Yogyakarta amount to 506 students. Then, this study took 253 students as research sample which is determined by using proportional stratified random sampling. The purpose of this study was to evaluate school counselor performance in organizing individual counseling services using self evaluation and peer evaluation. This study uses descriptive survey approach through descriptive comparative study. Subjects are school counselors in Special Region of Yogyakarta, especially Bantul District. Data analysis used Mann-Whitney U test. Based on result obtained by Mann-Whitney U significance value between self evaluation with peer evaluation is 0,657 (> 0,05). This means that there is no significant difference in counselor performance evaluation based on self evaluation and peer evaluation instruments.

This study aims to identify the effectiveness of cognitive defusion technique to increase students’ self confidence. This study used a pre-experimental design with one group pre-test post-test design. Subject in this study were six vocational high school student which have low self-confidence. The instrument used is self-confidence scale. To analyze the subjects’ self confidence after receiving cognitive defusion technique, we use the wilcoxon sign test. The results confirm that students' confidence level score were increase after being treat using cognitive defusion technique. It can be concluded that cognitive defusion technique are effective for improving students' self-confidence.

This research aims at examining the effectiveness of transtheoretical model to reduce compulsive internet use of Senior High School students. This research employed single subject design approach. The subject of this research is four students of X graders at St. Joseph Senior High School Malang which obtained high compulsive internet use score. This research utilized transtheoretical model counseling guidebook, compulsive internet use scale, observation and interview guidebook. The results of significant visual and score margin between pre-test and post-test indicate that transtheoretical model is effective to reduce compulsive internet use among Senior High School students.

The purpose of this study is to identify whether there are differences between male student aggression behavior and female students aggresive behavior in Yogyakarta. This comparative study involved 160 students from Sekolah Menengah Kejuruan Muhammadiyah in Yogyakarta as a sample. Simple Random Sampling technique were used to choose sample. The instrument used is the scale of aggression behavior. Independent Samples Test were used to analysis the data. The research findings show that there is no significant difference between male student aggression behavior and female students aggresive behavior. This study recommends counseling service to reduce and overcome student aggression behavior.

The purpose of this research is to understand the characteristics of falling in love and the love expression in writing media (graffiti) on Junior High School students. The chosen approach is qualitative approach with phenomenological research type. The subject is students of Sekolah Menengah Pertama Pancadarma Malang. The purpose of this study was to test the effectiveness of self-instruction techniques to improve student’s oral communication skills in the learning process. This study was an experimental study using a single case experimental with A-B designs.
