This study aims to determine the effect of the application of a scientific approach assisted by formative assessment of the motivation and results of physics learning students of class XI. The study used a quasi-experimental research design. The study involved 69 students of class XI. The experimental group received treatment in the form of a scientific approach with formative assessment, while the control class used the lecture method varied with assessment in the form of group assignments. The aim of this study is to investigate the difference of XI grade science students’ metacognitive knowledge as the impact of POGIL and verification learning on solubility equilibrium topic. The study used quasy experiment design. Analysis is done using Mann-Whitney U test at 5% significance. The result showed that there is difference on students’ metacognitive knowledge who are taught by POGIL and verification learning. The students who are taught by POGIL have higer metacognitive knowledge than that of are taught by verification learning.

This action research was conducted to improve learning motivation and learning outcomes in the fourth-grade students. The study was conducted in two cycles. Based on research in the first cycle showed that: (1) In the observation of implementation the learning by teachers reached 76% (2) the result of the motivation questionnaire reached the number of 73%. This research aims to produce interactive multimedia based on local culture that is feasible in terms of validity, practicality, attractiveness, and effectivity. The development model used was the Lee & Owens model, consists of five steps: analysis, design, development, implementation, evaluation. The validator stated that interactive multimedia was very valid with a score of 92.9%. Field test results showed that practicality of the product reached 94.5%, and level of attractiveness reached 95.9%. This study aims to discover the effectiveness of group counseling with self-instruction and time management techniques in decreasing academic procrastination in mathematics learning. This research used a randomized pre-test post-test comparison group design with sixteen participants selected through a purposive random sampling technique. The objective of this study is to adopt and test the psychometric properties of New Group Counseling Competencies Scale-Short Form (NGCCS-SF). This study used a new instrument adaptation procedure. A total of 73 candidates of group counselors from twoStudy Program of Guidance and Counseling in Indonesia were the participants of this study. This study aims to examine the role of proactive personality as a mediator of the relationship between parental support in career and self-efficacy in career decision making in junior high school students. The research sample of 140 people obtained by accidental sampling. The instruments used were Career-Related Parent Support Scale, Career Decision Self-Efficacy Short Form, and Proactive Personality Scale which had been adapted into Indonesian. This study aims to determine the effect of school fees, age and gender on children’s education level in Indonesia. Variables in school fees are school fees, equipment and transportation. The age variable is the sample that is aged 15 to 25 years. Gender variables consist of male and female. This study uses secondary data from the Indonesian Family Life Survey 5 (IFLS 5). The sample in this study were 2,601 respondents. It employs regression analysis and quantitative approach. Reading is a language modality in which the sense of urgency is palpable despite the task difficulty. This study examined the hypotheses that CSR improves reading comprehension and fosters positive perceptions of the implementations. The result supported that using CSR produced levels of reading comprehension superior to conventional teaching instruction. The analysis of posttest among the groups revealed 5.56 greater effects for students in the experimental group. The t-test also reported that students had favorable impressions about CSR implementation. They recognized some reading strategies of CSR which assisted them at most in elevating comprehension.

Career exploration is the acquisition of career information that results in the formation of career maturity. This study aims to explain the role of internal factors that drive career exploration behavior. Specifically, the study examines the role of career decision self-efficacy in mediating the effect of planned happenstance skills on career exploration behavior. Emotion regulation is an important variable to support students’ optimal development. Students with high emotion regulation tend to minimize their aggressive behavior. However, some students have difficulty in regulating their emotions. Previous studies show that attachment and self-esteem influence emotion regulation. This study aims to examine the effect of the two variables on emotion regulation of students. 150 randomly selected students were involved in the study. Multiple linear regression was applied to analyze the research data. The results showed that there was a significant effect of attachments and self-esteem on emotion regulation. Both interpersonal communication and conformity are prominent variables for adolescent’s social development. Adolescent who fails to establish a good interpersonal communication may turn to an aggressive individual, while the one who is too conformist will be more vulnerable to engage in juvenile delinquency. This study uses a medical center in Taiwan as an example to analyze medical staff’s emotional exhaustion by independent sample t test and analysis of variance. Eight out of ten demographic variables are considered as essential variables to influence emotional exhaustion excluding respondents reporting events in the past 12 months and job status. The results show that female employees and employees who are not supervisors/managers tend to have higher burnout. Employees whose ages are 21–30, 31–40, and 41–50 years old also have a higher degree of fatigue. In addition, nurses are more stressful than the others in this medical center. …
