The purpose of this study was to determine whether or not there was any significant difference in the behavior ratings of the two groups of fifth graders between those students who received the "value-clarification" process and those students who did not. The clarification process is an approach to clarifying the values of students. The teacher asks questions, during group or private individual sessions, of the students.

The purpose of this study was to determine if the enrichment and supplementing of creative activities relating to and incorporated in spelling lessons would bring about greater achievement in spelling than the traditional method of only stressing skills and principles. The purpose of this study was to make statistical comparisons of the mean correct-words-a-minute scores of students taught by two different methods and materials as presented by two different textbooks. Comparisons were made after twelve, twenty-four, and thirty-six weeks of instruction to determine the effectiveness of each textbook in developing speed in beginning typewriting students.

This study compares the golf skills of a class viewing its own videotape replays to those of a class who was videotaped but did not view the replays. All other relevant variables were equalized between the two groups. In addition, a test was made of the attitudes of the experimental group toward videotape as a learning aid, and finally, an attempt was made to reduce the number of trials necessary in the post-test, in order to make the test more functional.

This study was made to determine whether programmed reading materials could correct some of the reading difficulties that develop in children more effectively than the conventional basal approach to reading.
