Items were received in 2023 from former President, Stewart Smith's Son (Fredrick Smith), which includes a binder of letters that was sent to his father when he was ending his presidency at Marshall, among a few other things. Also included is the series of notes taken during the donation, to include a few personal stories of Fred as a child growing up on Marshall's campus.
