The purpose of this study was to analyze the administrators' perceptions of "current" (is) and ''future" (should be) goals for the Student Services Division at Western Michigan University. The development and writing of a program of school-community relations for the Jenison Public Schools led to a review and search of Board of Education policies, administrative memoranda, books and pamphlets, writing of authorities in the field, and attendance at a one-week seminar in Denver, Colorado sponsored by NSPRA. After a review of these materials, participation in the seminar, and consultation from professional educators and authorities in the school public relations field, a program of school-community relations for the Jenison Public Schools was developed.
