School districts across the country often face challenges using data to implement a multi-tiered system of support (MTSS) to meet the needs of all learners through high quality educational opportunities. This qualitative investigation explored how educators in a public school district in the northeastern United States experience the collection and analysis of data to inform decision-making within a MTSS. This research investigated the university faculty members’ attitudes towards accommodations for students with disabilities. A survey was emailed to 243 faculty members at a medium-sized public four-year University in Central Arkansas and resulted in 59 responses. The survey contained 26 prompts with 9 being demographic based questions. Other than the demographic questions, the other 17 prompts were created using an alternating Likert scale with opposing values assigned to 1 and 7. These prompts followed themes regarding knowledge of the disabilities services, institutional support and personal teaching policies. The Family Quality of Life (FQOL) approach represents a paradigm shift from fixing to supporting people with intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD) by changing the focus from the individual to the family and highlighting strengths rather than deficiencies. Aging family caregivers of individuals with I/DD often encounter obstacles, including accessibility, acceptability, and affordability of services. Little is known about best practices to support aging families of adults with I/DD. This reauthorization gave state agencies parameters that disallowed using the severe discrepancy model for identification as a stand-alone method. This paper examines neurodivergent students’ perspectives following participation in a summer college transition program. Program goals included promoting academia, self-advocacy, independent living, and the college social atmosphere for neurodivergent college-bound and college students. In year one of this transition program, six students completed the program, followed by eight students in year two. This paper will describe the college transition program, student feedback, and beneficial modifications applied to the second year of the program. Overall, survey responses indicated that students from both program years reported positive outcomes in the areas of engaging in extracurricular activities, establishing peer relationships, and self-advocacy. While diversity and inclusion can often be interpreted as synonymous terms, distinguishing between representative diversity and inclusive diversity is necessary for positive intergroup contact among working teams. The purpose of this quantitative study was to evaluate the effect of a missions training course on individuals' perceptions of what constitutes a diverse and inclusive work environment. This narrative inquiry delves into the lives of six men, including the researcher, who have multiple sclerosis (MS). Through in-depth interviews, the researcher asks participants to describe their life before diagnosis, the diagnosis process, and the construction of a “new normal” after diagnosis. This research provides insights into how participants make sense of the disease, how they cope with the ongoing changes to their bodies, their relationships, their careers, and their perceptions of their masculinity. According to the Universal Design for Learning (UDL) framework, as a text-based alternative to auditory information in videos or presentations, captions can make the content equally accessible, and multilingual subtitles can promote a cross-linguistic understanding of the content. We conducted a phenomenological study to understand the common meaning of the participants’ experiences when using real-time automated captions/subtitles during live online class presentations. Twenty-four remote student participants were placed in three study groups. The purpose of this nonexperimental, quantitative study was to discover the pre-employment skills needed by persons with an autism spectrum disorder (ASD) or intellectual disabilities (ID) to increase their employment readiness and retention. The purposive sample comprised 41 people who have hired, worked with, or trained persons with disabilities (PWD) in various capacities. Participants were also recruited through snowball sampling by purposive participants who provided the link to take the survey. Data were collected using a 22-item questionnaire survey created in Google Docs by the researcher and subject matter experts.
