The purpose of this study was to identify and assess the misconceptions of grade 12 students in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) concerning the electrical potential of spherical conductors in physics. This study employed a two-tier multiple choice testing strategy to assess student misconceptions. The participants consisted of 200 grade 12 science students, including 100 male and 100 female students, drawn from UAE public high schools. The findings showed that the students held a variety of misconceptions regarding the electrical potential of spherical conductors. This research purposes to investigate the use of evidence-based behaviorism instructional strategies with effect size in the education of students with special needs from inservice special education teachers' point of views in Kuwait's public inclusive elementary schools. A developed questionnaire survey included some variables (i.e. nationality, age, marital status, education qualification, teaching experience, direct instruction, functional behavioral analysis, and assessment, evaluation and feedback) to measure 120 inservice special education female teachers' point of views that randomly selected. This study aimed to examine the impact of self-learning table strategy K.W.L.H. On the achievement of the sixth grade students in chapter "Regular Fractions and Decimal Fractions" and their attitudes towards school mathematics.

The study has been conducted in the first semester (1438/1439AH), at King Khalid Bin Abdul-Aziz Primary School, in Arar, Saudi Arabia.

A quasi-experimental design has been used. In addition a (pre & post) achievement test (20 Questions) and (pre & post) attitude scale towards school mathematics (24 Item) were applied on two groups: one was control (27 Students) and the other experimental (26 Students).

Stereotypes about mathematicians that conflict with ``traditionally feminine" identities are widely held by people from middle-school-age onwards, and can influence their participation in mathematics and related fields. Simply being exposed to women in mathematics is not enough to change students' perceptions of mathematicians, and may even decrease girls' interest in mathematics. This paper proposes a storytelling strategy to help change students' perceptions of mathematicians. Historically, researchers studying mathematics education for students with visual impairment (SVI) have faced several challenges. Quantitative researchers are limited by small sample sizes and the need to adapt traditional research instruments for accessibility by SVI. Qualitative research, most often conducted by sighted researchers and relying on the perspectives of sighted educators, suffers from the absence of the voices of the SVI being studied. The region served by Portland State University’s Orientation and Mobility (O&M) and Visually Impaired Learner (VIL) hybrid preparation program is geographically vast. The states of OR, WA, ID, MT, AK, and HI comprise 28% of the US’s geography, covering more than 1,061,000 square miles. Because of regional personnel shortages, faculty must prepare candidates to serve geographically dispersed children and adults with visual impairment or deaf-blindness using technologies that support distance-based consultation.

The purpose of this phenomenological study is to investigate the effects of a unified enrollment system on school choice for parents of students with disabilities in a charter-dominant school district. Previous research indicated that charter schools provide parents with enrollment choices outside of the traditional public school (Rhim & McLaughlin, 2000; Finn, Caldwell & Raub, 2006).

Reading for pleasure is valuable for young hearing children – we know that, it is among the most beloved family rituals. In this article we argue that reading for pleasure needs to be recognized as valuable for young deaf children and needs to become a beloved family ritual for them, as well.
