Teachers' Competence In Teaching Twice- Exceptional Students In The Sultanate Of Oman, Ahmad “Mohammad Jalal” Al-Fawair
Journal of Educational and Psychological Studies
The current study aimed to determine the level of teachers’ competence in teaching twice-exceptional students in the Sultanate of Oman. To achieve this aim, a Teachers’ Competence Scale for Teaching Twice-Exceptional Students was developed. The study sample included (150) teachers who teach twice-exceptional students. Results revealed that the overall level of teachers’ competence in teaching twice-exceptional students in Sultanate of Oman was moderate, as well as in the dimensions of collaboration and teaching strategies, while it was low in the dimensions of interaction and classroom management. The study aimed to identify the level of both Career Sustainability and psychological well-being among teachers in Syrian refugee camps, and the relative contribution of Career Sustainability to psychological well-being. The study sample consisted of 282 teachers (138 males, 144 females) from the Syrian refugee camp in Jordan, selected by convenience sampling. To achieve the objectives of the study, the researchers used (Chin et al., 2022) scale of Career Sustainability and (Anyamesem-Poku & Parmar., 2024) scale of teachers’ psychological well-being after ensuring reliability and validity. The aim of this study was to assess the dimensions of digital fluency (technical, cognitive, social, and security/privacy) among middle school English teachers in Bisha Governorate, Saudi Arabia. The study included 157 teachers selected using a simple random sampling method. The researchers employed a descriptive survey approach and used a questionnaire as the research instrument. This study aimed to compare the Big Five personality traits among university students of both genders across six Arab countries: Qatar, Jordan, Iraq, Tunisia, Oman, and Bahrain (N = 1,729). Participants completed the Arabic version of the Big Five Personality Inventory, enabling a cross-national analysis of personality trait distributions. The results indicated distinct national patterns: Jordanian students scored the highest on Extraversion, Iraqi students on Neuroticism, Bahraini students on Agreeableness and Conscientiousness, and Qatari students on Openness. In contrast, Tunisian students had the lowest mean scores for Extraversion, Agreeableness, and Conscientiousness, while Bahraini students had the lowest mean for Neuroticism, …

To improve the reading skills of first-grade elementary school students in Indonesian, particularly in relation to reading, this project aims to create picture card-based learning materials. The five steps of the ADDIE development model, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation, were used in the research and development (R&D) process. Pretests and posttests, expert validation, questionnaires, interviews, and observations were some of the methods used to collect data. Experts in content, media, and language verified the media that had been created, and feedback from teachers and students assessed its usefulness. This paper aims to give insight and recommend teachers to implement Virtual Reality in language learning, especially in EFL classrooms such as in Indonesia. In the digital era, the use of technology by young people cannot be separated from daily life. Therefore, teachers can use and create the course materials by implementing virtual reality in building language acquisition instead of using traditional methods and textbooks. Using interesting learning sources can enhance students’ motivation to learn. The use of Virtual Reality will give new experiences and environments for the students to learn a new language especially English.

TOEFL Prediction is widely used in Indonesian higher education as a preparatory tool, yet students’ perceptions of the TOEFL test remain rarely explored. This qualitative case study involved ten English Education students (batch 2021) at UIN Datokarama Palu. Data were collected through semi-structured interviews and document analysis, then analyzed using Miles and Huberman’s interactive model. Four indicators emerged: readiness and confidence, test-taking experience, motivation, and perceived fairness. Students valued TOEFL Prediction as a diagnostic tool, but faced challenges such as anxiety, technical issues, and limited vocabulary. TOEFL Prediction functions both as formative assessment and a motivational catalyst for learning.

In the 21st‐century digital era, education faces challenges in integrating innovative technologies with relevant curricula, particularly in elementary‐level cultural diversity learning that still relies on traditional methods and lacks engaging media. This study analyzes the effectiveness of integrating Project‐Based Learning (PjBL) with TikTok videos to enhance primary students’ understanding of cultural diversity through a comprehensive systematic literature review. Keyword searches in Google Scholar, Scopus, the Indonesian Publication Index, and university journal portals yielded 48 articles, of which 25 met inclusion criteria—15 quasi‐experimental studies, 6 descriptive studies, and 4 meta‐analyses (14 national, 11 international). This research aims to determine the influence of the Game-Based Learning (GBL) learning model on students' cognitive activities and abilities. This type of research is quasi-experimental, one-group pre-test and post-test design. This research investigated the perspectives of English as a Foreign Language (EFL) students on their experiences with group work (GW) in both online and offline environments. The results indicated that most students who participated in GW in both settings held a positive perception. Implementing a Collaborative Learning (CL) approach can enhance students’ self-confidence, motivation, engagement in a studentcentered environment, and sense of responsibility. However, some students reported negative experiences with online GW due to issues such as unstable internet connections, limited prior experience with GW, and unfamiliarity with relevant applications and software. This study aims to analyze the role of artificial intelligence (AI) in language learning in vocational high schools, focusing on the experiences of teachers and students. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method, where data are collected through observation and interviews. Vygotsky's constructivism theory is used as a basis for understanding how AI supports independent and interactive learning. The results show that AI improves students' speaking and listening skills through automated feedback and enables personalized learning. Penelitian ini mengevaluasi tingkat adopsi Artificial Intelligence (AI) di kalangan dosen Universitas Terbuka (UT) menggunakan pendekatan mix method dengan analisis deskriptif. Populasi penelitian meliputi seluruh dosen UT, dengan 172 responden yang dipilih berdasarkan kesediaan berpartisipasi. Mengacu pada teori Diffusion of Innovations dari Rogers (2003), dosen dikelompokkan dalam kategori Innovators, Early Adopters, Early Majority, Late Majority, dan Laggards berdasarkan skor adoption rate. Hasil menunjukkan mayoritas dosen UT berada dalam kategori Early Majority (37%) dan Late Majority (32%), menunjukkan adopsi yang moderat terhadap AI. In this study, the sample of respondents was 134 students using quantitative methods.
