There is a constantly growing number of people around the world who are learning English as an additional language. A lot of innovation has been focused on classroom teaching techniques, but homework pedagogies are vastly underrepresented. This paper is divided into five sections. The first section provides a working definition of homework and examines the different function of class time and homework time.
