The Census (2010), states that only 4.8% of persons age 25 years and older in Greenfield, CA obtain a bachelor’s degree. With 2.3 million people in the United States prison system, reducing recidivism rates in prison is crucial. One of the most prevalent ways California has been able to reduce recidivism and encourage less punitive measure on prisoners is through music rehabilitation programs. The importance of this issue is the lack of time given in order for all subject departments to have efficient time to collaborate during the school year. MCOE Head Start has been transitioning from pen and paper to a new software, ChildPlus. This software provides the ability for staff and administrators to quickly and efficiently track all of the data required by the program so that the agency staff can focus on serving families and children to the best of their ability. Seaside High School is located on the Central Coast of California and is home to 1,119 students. Bullying has many negative effects on high school students. Some consequences of bullying are suicide, depression and anxiety, and increased likelihood of dropouts. At Seaside High School, a survey was conducted to see if there was a need for a peer mentor program. After analyzing 136 responses from the freshmen and sophomore class, 64.7% of the respondents said they would benefit from having a peer mentor show them around the school and help them out with classes.Another question that was asked …
